Is it simply that they've paid the loan but left it unidentified in the bagging area?

When they went back to court Sainsbury made them take a lone out against the mem to make sure they pay court charges etc

i think they still owe Sainsbury

I think all you can really do is compare yourself with teams you play against. I'm pretty honest about Rovers, sometimes- and in very recent history- we have been a really, really bad side to watch. However, in the past 3 years or so we have been a  really good side to watch. I would say any neutral coming along to see us in the past couple of seasons would enjoy watching us. Football- like most things- goes in cycles though, and things can change very quickly.

I bloody hope so .

Wael has splashed his billions Matty Taylor cash on striker Tom Nichols from Peterborough (formerly of Exeter) for around 180k-200k

So that still isn't an Andy Tilson's worth.

We move a bench warmer to Cardiff for close to three million and they have a lower league jogger arrive as their summer hope.

That gap is closing by the second.

Yeh I seem to remember people mentioning him. He had two good seasons in League Two with Exeter but didn't quite cut it in his first year with Peterborough in League One. Wouldn't surprise me if he did a job at Rovers though.

Fair to say The dog botherer is not a bad judge of a player

Fairly generous. Apart from Matty Taylor, have there been many others that he's brought in and sold on for a profit..?

Is this the first money they have actually paid for a player since his ownership?

Yes.. BUT they do have lovely clean carpets, new curtains, the smell of fresh paint wafting through the club house AND those in the directors lounge can have a fag in the door way without getting wet.

I honestly don't know, but I do think successive promotions make him a good judge of a player which is surely what a managers job is - or at least should be- rather than making a profit.

This mornings report say that Nicholls fee was undisclosed, as was the length of his contract.

The latter seems unusual to me.

We all know what happened last time they announced a player on an 'undisclosed contract' don't we.

Being in the championship there is a high chance we could be relegated. 9/2 not worth it . But 9/1 the slags going down good value. Also I hope u go down. ;)

Only 3 go down in the Championship, so there is statistically a higher chance of getting relegated from League 1, so there is indeed some value in it. Send me a tenner and I will give you 10/1.

Could cost you a Matty Taylor if people take you up on this.

(That's eff all squared, by the way)

That does seem generous on Rovers IMO as didnt they as of about 10 days ago-ish have about 15 players and none were goalkeepers?

I know they have bought a couple of players and at least 1 GK, but (unless they have announced 6-7 other signings) they seem incredibly short on players.

They signed 2 keepers on the same day a couple weeks ago

Taunton Town 2 Bristol Rovers 2 tonight. "A hard fought draw against a side who made surprisingly made it into the first round of the FA cup this season" said Leigh Robinson, Taunton Town manager.:rofl2br::rofl2br:

I thought they were playing in Portugal last night..? Not sure if it was their game V Hull, or if that got changed.

Either way, they lost, so I'm guessing it was the youth team or something that would have played V Taunton.

Edit: Lost 2-1 Vs their best friends in the world. Hull City.

Back in the day, if you'd gone to see Sinatra in concert, you'd have been disappointed had he not sung "My Way". I'm sure that when the gas hoardes are strutting their famous jesterwear around foreign parts they will be well aware that they have an obligation to the locals by singing about Eileen at every opportunity before making their way to soak up the atmosphere of the match from their vantage point in the stadium car park. That's "Their Way".
