Okay Playing on the break is a style of football that often involves inviting the opposition to attack with the aim of winning possession and then attacking (breaking) quickly whilst the said opposition is vulnerable, often with few players in defence at the time. Gordon was unlucky not to have earned at least one penalty for Everton.
