Erling Haaland, are we in the early days of the greatest goalscorer ever?

Haaland has as many PL hat tricks as Vardy, Ronaldo, Lukaku, Drogba, Anelka and Lampard.

After 8 games.

The rest of the league will be praying that the rumours that he's already eyeing up Madrid as his next destination in a couple of years are true.

Why go to another league where there are only two or three teams capable of winning. So boring. He should just get himself on the M6(S)/M5(S), head down to the M4 interchange and stop at the nearest Championship club.

Or even League One?Rumour has it that the fewers are putting together a package "worth more than a Tillson" to try and tempt him this way.

Haaland is immense but .....

would he score against our brilliant defensive unit?

Ponder that.

Usually I hope we draw a good Prem team in the FA Cup 3rd round. There is no way I want to see Haaland playing our lot at the Gate. Carnage.

That’s a disgusting stat. Sounds made up - incredible. I’ll be using that one at the pub!

Can he play centre back then?

I mentioned the all-round game the other day.

1 game but some of these other key stats look better than he has received credit for! While not sensational for a striker, it is an uptick I would expect in respect of Haaland.

Given he is 22, he should only get better and better. Slightly hidden from view but also says he created 2 big chances.

And yet Gabriel Jesus only managed 58 goals in 159 appearances

Fair point.

He's obviously an exceptional goal scorer - but if that's your game, it can't get any easier than being in the Man City team. Chances galore and the opposition worried about all other outfield players aswell.

It would be fascinating to see how many Haaland would score in an average team.

Well he has scored 21 in 23 for Norway and they are not exactly top notch.

Haarland has already broken the PL record for back to back hat tricks and will undoubtedly threaten Clive Allen’s 49 goals in one season. I reckon that Vardy’s record of consecutive goals will be under threat this season

At 22 he’s only going to get better - at that’s a frightening thought for every  other PL club.

Wonder what Kane is thinking watching him bang in the goals for them.

Kane's on for a 30 goal season himself though. 7 from 8 so far, 1 goal every 102 minutes.

Maintain that form and play every remaining minute and he finishes on 34 for the season.

He's 10 goals away from breaking 200 in the Premier League as well.

He's quietly having an excellent start to his season.

Yes he is but he isn't likely to win much at Spurs and it was pretty clear he wanted to join MC.
