The road works problems will be ongoing for a while, but midweek should be better than Saturday, as Saturdays always have a protest of some sort in central Bristol. I’m not sure what the protests are about but there’s one each week.

Traffic problems, probably...

We should organise a protest against the protests.

yes but not that bad! I don't know if it's because he's not fit or still a bit tentative

I think we just need to be a little more patient than we thought with Wilson.  A two division jump isn't something that everyone can adapt to immediately, so it could be case of him getting up to speed.

Another change instead of Massengo coming in would be to put Tanner in and move Sykes to his natural position in the middle of the park.  Strengthen the defensive position whilst not overly compromising the midfield.  Sykes' adjustment to Championship football, especially into a foreign position for him has earned him the right to keep his place after one poor game.

The Saturday protests are protesting at a lack of mid-week protests. The few mid-week protests that there actually are, tend to be protesting at the sheer numbers of protests on a Saturday.

I would play Williams and Massengo tonight. Start Semenyo instead of Conway too. And I’d start Wilson or Tanner instead of Sykes.

As above Scott is back Saturday.

If Nige is genuinely worried about Williams then play king with Massengo.

With those changes we are still no weaker than Saturday, we have a squad of like-level players…the issue is depth really.

Trying to name the team is all a bit academic as we don’t really know who is and isn’t fit.

However we looked better with Semenyo on the field the other day. All things being equal I would move Sykes in and play Wilson in that spot as the only thing we do know is Scott is in the stand.

Starting Naismith and Massengo is a recipe for disaster for me, however I guess we will see.

yes he does look nervous, and a bit out of his depth at the moment. I'm sure he'll come good.

Cmon you reds!!!

Looks like Williams not being risked from the start. King to add experience alongside Massengo, they’ve played quite a few minutes together over pre-season and cup games.

Here’a hoping we play well tonight.

Semenyo if he can peel onto Doyle or Panzo could really outmuscle them. Important he doesn’t allow McFadzean to mark him.

Evening all!    Here's hoping to end the run of defeats tonight, just listened to NP's interview on RB where he said "they have to get back to basics at the back"  totally agree with this and let's hope that they concentrate and don't try anything stupid.  It will be another close game and I think that it will be a one goal win for us.  So COYR's, get this season started again.

First home game I’ve missed this season. What with last Saturday, Birmingham away this Saturday then 2 home games in a week, my fuel bill for a fortnight is nearing the cost of my season ticket.

Anyway, good to see HNM back but let’s not get on his back after one bad pass, like others he needs minutes under his belt to get right back to his best.
