What a fantastic performance! Everything apart from a goal, which we highly deserve. Need to keep this up, something will fall for us. Just need to be careful at the back and not give away something silly. Come on city!!!

Apart from the crossing issue, it’s been really good. Sheff United look scared shitless

Good half from us although we haven’t really troubled their keeper despite dominating and playing neat stuff. Alex Scott has been excellent but picks up another booking in a game which the ref has been largely invisible.

Been a decent half, been the better side and played some decent stuff.

Equally ended up creating not very much, and Sheff Utd set up to pick us off sooner or later. Scott been the pick, but could easily have been off. There to be won.

We really needed that goal to cap off a dominant first half. Sheff Utd surely aren’t going to be as bad after the break.

Our first touch outside both boxes under pressure has been terrible, we have a chance to recycle and go again and its just so lazy and loose.

The delivery and running off the ball to get into space has been lazy too. Amount of hopeful deep crosses that are just picked off is way too much.

Everyone's playing okay, I just know there they can all step up a level and get at them. They might leave it too late.

I can only assume you're not here because Jay has been extremely far forward, he was in the middle of Wells and Conway quite a few times in the box. Very odd comment.

That’s as pleasing a half as you’ll ever see (without being 4-0 up). 

Wells, Scott, James all completely at the top of their game. Everyone else very good too. 

More of the same in the second half please.

I assume Sheff Utd look exactly like us in our non existent away performances, 3-0 Brum, 2-0 Reading etc. Difference is that I have no doubt they'll grab a lucky one and defend a 0-1
