Two and a half years later I’d say Johnson isn’t a ‘big part’ of the performances we are seeing today. Those who have come since need to start taking responsibility and not blaming things on a manager who left 30 months ago

I’ve been very mute re Pearson but I don’t think it’s getting or going to get any better. Who do we bring in? Not the best job in the world but to any manager out of work it’s a job.

Pearson persisting with an ageing centre midfielder at centre half whilst our £1.6m signing sits on the bench will ultimately do him no favours. Many understand the financial constraints and understand his interview comments but you do have to be playing your better players in their rightful positions. This won’t end well.

For me I don’t blame it just on NP. For me the onus lies squarely at SL.
This club has been badly run for many years. League 1 is about our level nowadays.

Considering Pearsons tactical decisions today, I’m not sure how much Johnson is affecting what we’ve seen this afternoon really. We have a decent enough squad now, and certainly one that should be putting in better performances than what we’ve seen today
