Yep, a bit shaky at times but overall he did ok, you can’t judge him against that sort of team.

Happiest 3 nil defeat IMO. We did ourselves proud and that was all I wanted to see. Well done lads. Remember some of these lads are still in their teens. Well impressed.

Did ok and never gave it up. Second goal killed it of course, but there was a 15 minute spell in the second half when I thought we had them rattled. Foden best player on the pitch by a mile for me.good effort overall.

FT 0-3, but we were right in the match up to the Vyner og 15 mins from time.

Kalas my City MotM, thought he was superb. Pring really good too. All over a decent performance, with some good football. Well done City.

Won't be going to bed gutted. Did ourselves proud. Lads ran their socks off. That extra bit of quality makes all the difference.

Yeah exactly. Had he struggled like this against a championship team I would be critical but given the opposition he played fine, solid for 99% of the game.

Shame for the third goal, but it doesn't change the level of our performance: we were in the match for 70+ minutes against one of the strongest teams of the world.

Proud of the boys tonight. They put in one heck of a shift, but the gulf in quality shone through in the end. Scott, Kalas and Pring came out tonight particularly well IMO.

Yep. That 15 minutes after half time where we were chasing shadows ultimately did for us in the end, even though we didn't concede during it and then had a decent spell, it meant we were spent with 10-15 left.

A shame we couldn’t keep the score down to 1 or 2. Most of the nation will look at the score line and assume it was a comfortable evening for Man City when that was far from the case. If Bell connected to that cross……

We played really well against an obscenely good side and had them worried at times. First time I've seen Foden in the flesh, what a player!

No disgrace whatsoever, well played boys.

Well done boys good experience and not overpowered for most of the game. Now back to getting into the play offs!

Great performance. 3-0 flatters them and only a few moments of real class the difference. 
 

Can be proud of all of them. Sam Bell sprinting 40 yards in the 92nd minute to close Enderson down - what a great effort. 
 

Thought Sykes was excellent

Most, if not all their team were in the world cup finals.

Puts in perspective what we've been up against and how well we've played. We've certainly not been disgraced and the late goals give a scoreline that doesn't reflect our effort.

 

I forgot to mention that we were also up against a prem friendly ref. As others have said had the challenge on Sykes been at the other end odds on it would have been a penalty.

As others said before the game, losing 3-0 felt like the limit to feeling ok about going out. A shame we didn't get a goal to cheer, we did create chances against a club team with a better line up than most teams at the world cup finals.
