Given the injuries Nige has selected two vastly experienced players in James and King - two players who knows well and what they’ll bring. King in particular in a defensive midfield role.

Dasilva, Vyner, Pring, Tannner will have excellent protection.

I think some of the posts on Williams are harsh. He struggled the last couple of seasons but this season his availability has been good up until now.

Set pieces key, they have an advantage in that respect, but we can get at them - was looking forward to seeing Sykes and Mehmeti running at them.

I'd have gone Scott James, Weimann in the 10, but like you I'd have played Mehmeti.

But all the starting eleven are capable...up to them to do the biz.

I think Williams will be key next season.

Think Naismith will be used in midfield next season. Desperately need him in the back 4 ASAP though!

Although I thought he was just about over the problems, if you ever can be, and finally getting some confidence in playing 2 games a week. I did think Pearson would have rested him, or at least not started the 3rd hard game in 8 days. Easy in hindsight, and you really need your players available all the time in a small squad. 
It is a real shame, I like him as a player and love his attitude.

Ah yeh. Ok so we have James, Naismith, a returning Benarous, Williams. Surely we need one more at least in CM. Another CB crisis and Naismith is needed in defence.

Feels like our season is fading fast after the past week and the injuries that have come with it, and I’ve got a horrible feeling that’s going to translate into a tepid performance on the pitch tonight. Hope I’m wrong.

Try logging out, closing your browser, then reopening and logging in again. Often fixes this kind of thing for me.
