You can start with supporting (financially) the idiots that glue themselves to roads and bridges causing misery to thousands of people going about their daily lives.

What? The ones trying to do something about the current situation instead of taking individual private jets to a oil producing country to talk in circles?

Not sure what the Notts County defenders were on last night !

Awful wasn’t it.
Aden Baldwin, our ex player, involved heavily in them too.
To be fair to him though, he’s been really good for Notts - just not last night!!

All very predictable.

Yeah, predictable but poor all the same.

Sad too.

One of our best memories in recent times, let alone cor clubs further down the pyramid and most clubs will have one was a 2 leg tie v Man City in 2018. We lost but acquitted ourselves very well. The 8k up there, the comeback from 2 down at AG, the fact it took them a late late goal up there to beat us.

Now multiply that by several for Idk Exeter, Rochdale, AFC Wimbledon whoever.

Just the top clubs taking more, more, more really.

FA Cup, while not what it was a replay vs a top side away from home can be transformative to a struggling club in the bottom 2 divisions let alone lower down. Or showcase them to a wider audience.

Or indeed hold out under the fish away, replay at home lashing with rain, dodgy pitch, freezing night and it's game on to an extent. Well climate and far better pitches even lower down have reduced that a bit but it can happen still.

Hate hearing the likes of Klopp (and Wenger particularly in the past if I recall) whinging about fixture congestion every time there is a cup replay, and yet the new champions league format will add more fixtures to the calendar. Cup replays will surely pay the price sooner rather than later.

The rules were brought in, along with transfer deadline day in March, to stop clubs buying loads of players for a final push but it is redundant now.

There will be a case where some lad gets bought by a premier league club from a lower one in January, he tears it up, and his new club goes on to get to the Cup Final. He`ll have played ten minutes for his old club in Round Two and will be stopped from playing in the final because of it.

It doesn’t matter, there are rules, the clubs know what they are, if they break them they have to accept the consequences.

I know there are but my point is that they are outdated and could do with being looked at again.

They aren’t outdated though. You could potentially have 11 players in a team knocked out of the 2nd round today, then they all play in the third round for the team that beat them!.

Said at the time, that job will do enormous, enormous damage to his managerial career.

I feel LJ jumps into the next job too quickly. I always thought Gary J did the same (Peterborough and Northampton after us) so perhaps it runs in the family.
