Stadium clock

Anyone know why it stopped on 45 mins at the end of each half and didn’t continue ticking away?

It's always stopped at 45 for the last few seasons,

The club clearly didn't get the note from the FA telling all clubs to keep the clocks going to show the actual time in the match

Not so late that other clubs round the country weren't able to

While I'm at it, was stoppage time too low?

I thought so..under the new rules the Weimann injury, the substitutions plus the varied Preston time wasting I dunno if there was enough.

Anything that this club can mess up, they will mess it up. We are completely inept off of the pitch.

Downsy was doing the announcements from the booth so guess he didn't have the advance notice he had previously when he was standing in the tunnel area.

Even with the advanced notices before when he was pitch side he would still royally mess it up. 

After all this time and he still can't do his job correctly.

yes that was annoying. Nahki was already sat down before they’d announced the sub.

it’s as they were trying to time it with what was being shown on the screen.

What happened to the clock on the big screen, according to the the new rules, stadium clocks must continue to tick away during injury time, ours stopped at 45,mins and 90 mins, anyone else notice this,

Think the only time he appeared anywhere near the pitch was at half-time for the Robins Foundation draw.

The announcements were done from the booth in the Lansdown/South stand corner.

What a load of rubbish,yet the championship game on Friday night on Sky was able to show the clock still ticking in injury time,

Talking about new rules, in the technical area only one person (manager) is allowed during the game, yet Preston had 2 coaches in the technical area during play,yet the ref did nothing, on Friday night the ref booked the second coach for being in there, inconsistent refs again,

Half time scores would have been nice on the screen. From the South Stand I couldn't understand any of the scores as they seemed to be mumbled.

The big screens have been made smaller, the replays etc used to fill the screen now it’s a lot smaller, I’m guessing that’s to fit in more advertising.
 

Think nearly everyone at AG didn’t get the memos from EFL. The ref barely adding time on he spoke to O’Leary about four times about time wasting and didn’t book him, players surrounding him at times and again didn’t book anyone. AG claiming late notification of the clock changes which basically means someone forgot to re-program it.

That's a good point, the officiating didn't seem to have moved with the directives. Thought the added time was a bit low as well.

It’s a bollocks new rule imo. Stop people going outside it yes but limiting the people in it is rubbish .

Plus the time Max takes to do anything. Far more than PNE's total time wasted.

Also why was the game showed on the screen  ? Thought you wasn't allowed to do that during the game.
