Two of the three are first XI automatic choices I would have said and King finished last season well, seems fairly strong.

 

Edit - for some reason I read James instead of Williams so not quite as strong. Not really any reason to worry either.

Nice to see Naismith back also Yeboah on the bench. Strong team and a run out for a couple that didn't start Saturday. Roberts I'm interested in tonight to see how he performs.

Aye, I edited to say I thought it was James in and not Williams.

I would have our first choice midfield for now as Scott, Knight and James

Williams and King would be in the 2nd group with Naismith for me

For me it's Naismith or James, then Williams or Knight , and  Scott. Just for legs and mobility.

Personally I don't rate Williams and King is really there for cover nowadays. I happen to feel our midfield is a bit weak even with our A team (Scott excluded due to injury).

So we're all broadly on Scott and James, and the debate is Knight or Naismith.

Personally I go Naismith as he's the known quantity and we know what he offered last season in terms of changing how that midfield operated. I think Knight is an excellent signing, but I'd personally have him as first sub (with sincere apologies to Joe Williams) right now. 

Are people choosing Knight as he perhaps keeps it on the deck a bit more, and is that bit younger and fresher in the legs?
