I think England's underachievement in world rugby over the past decade is probably epitomised by Ben Youngs, 127 caps, and he's won one Grand Slam. A couple of Six Nations, and that's it. The danger is the RFU will say we finished 2nd and 3rd in the last two RWC and whitewash over the failure you highlight. I think a number of retirements with the older players forces a reset - along with Wales.
