No, this masterstroke from the owners is going to get funds in January and even time to 'rebuild' in League 1 if he needs it.

 

There are some occasional promising signs of good play so hopefully it won't come to that.

Tactically Manning deserves a bit of credit for how the momentum swung towards us, but realistically it’s a terrible Blackburn team who didn’t deserve the victory. We lost the game ourselves.

Fed up of playing well for one half per game. We have to do better/play smarter.

Big six weeks coming up for the Lansdown’s. They absolutely own this and it’s now up to them to back LM in the January window. Never easy in January, to be fair, but a couple of strong prem. loans would send a signal. Preserving the ‘nice little nest egg’ would send another kind of signal.

City proved that they can play good, attacking football, but why wait until you're 2-0 down? 

So much better in that last half hour and we probably deserved a draw, but those two soft goals cost us.

I hope that the Sykes and Knight substitutions were for tiredness, because they looked our best players. Yeboah is too raw and offered little, Mehmeti did grow into the game, but we lost our edge despite some presentable chances.

Frustrating, but there's some green shoots.

Showed promise in the second half. First set of subs made an impact. So credit due. But what was that first half about? Sad thing is that we are now in a reset, this season is over, unless we get dragged into a relegation scrap. Didn't need to be this way.

As for Manning being under pressure, he's going no where, all the time in the world, he's the Lansdown's boy, he could have a record breaking losing streak like the last one and he'll be as safe as houses. Just hoping he doesn't turn out to be quite such a dud.

GJ won 3 of his first 4 as a base and inherited a total shambles.

What a poor comparison with respect.
