Record Bristol win, record Saints defeat. As Robbo says, Bristol could have won by even more.

Yes, BT were keen to point out Saints were missing a few, but strangely no mention of Bears missing Sinkler and Genge. Two key players including captain.

Beat Quins next weekend and top 4 is perfectly possible.

Odd that…….…….:cool2:

However Austin Healey was gushing in his praise for the Bears, particularly Piatua and the (second?) try with the grubber kick thru for the try, BT must have shown if about 4 times.

Pat Lam post match was his usual self calm and well measured. He’s a proper director of rugby. I’m glad that he never got headhunted for the England job.

Well, that was superb. Well done Bris. According to the BBC site we beat a "depleted" Saints side, funny that, thought we were also somewhat depleted.

Never mind........9 TRIES!

Bring on the Quins, who knows.

The same saints who BT were keen to point out had won 3 of their last 4 and are sitting in third. I don’t think there’s many teams that can keep up with Bristol when they’re playing like that.

The way it was being openly talked about on the TV at Friday's game was like it had already been confirmed, even mentioning it when they were interviewing Piatau after the match.

Yup, I saw that. It was a bit awkward. There were rumours that he is leaving us but not necessarily the Premiership. Personally I think he will go abroad, possibly link up with his brother eventually

Jack Willis being linked with Bristol. Would be a fantastic capture.

Suspect it may hinge on whether the RFU review their stance on overseas-based players being picked for England. He's got special dispensation to play in France until the World Cup because of what happened at Wasps, but if they don't change their rules then he'll have to come back to the UK if he wants an international career.

Absolutely massive game on Saturday at Leicester.  Win and the play offs are well and truly on. Lose and it's almost certainly gone.

According to our local rag, Pat Lam told Genge and Sinkler to have a week off after England duty but Genge turned up on Monday morning anyway desperate to play on Saturday.

Legend.
