Superb post on ask Steve L concerning that stand from southvillekiddie -

http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=47695

This only seems to be applied to certain ares of the ground brian and the club is anything other than even handed in this. I fail to see what makes BCFC fans so different to other fans that we need a huge swathe of our ground shut to control supporters in this day and age.Have a look ar what happens elsewhere, standing is a convinient excuse to keep this stand shut.

It can be opened :city:

All E.E. posts merged; ready for "comments noted" or" this has already been delt with" reply :dunno:

Go on open the East end, and then close the rest. You only need one stand anyway

SPROUT, or Cabbage or Turnip, infact whatever you want to be.Why don't you stick to your own forum instead of ours. Theres a few of you every day trying yer luck on our forum with pants comments, so please , go and play with yer gasie mates. Anyway where did you learn to read and write?

You should be cock a hoop with quality constructive comments on yer own forum, now you got Lawrence and Trollope (great sir name by the way), so off you go, get mummy to show you what button to push, and off to play with yer little kinder garden pals! :@

I have not posted on this thread yet. I say we give it a go, we need some points badly and this may help get us some.

Let's face it, the idiots who do cause bother with stewards won't be coming down for a while until the football improves. Most of the away crowds could fit snug in the corner by the corner flag easy, thus keeping well out the way.

I would like to take my down there too, the atmosphere is pretty dull in the Ateyo for the kids. He wants to go and sing and have fun.

Guest bristolbred

He has not replyed to one eastend post!!

COME ON STEVE YOU CANT HIDE FOREVER!!!

WE SHALL NOT GIVE UP!!!!

It took him 14 days from his last posting till last nights effort!!

How many games have we won in that time??

How much success has the Club had in that time??

14 day's!! Might well of been 4 years!!.

This Club is going backwards, NOT forwards!!

Maybe the Board are scared to open the East End because of ALL the Away support this season!!

Wonder how many Chesterfield will be bringing down to the Gate on Saturday, compared to how many we took up there for a Mediocre, Mid-week game!!.

:crying::crying::crying:

At the swindon game on Friday when the downpour came & we started singing louder & longer than we had all the game the Players seemed to respond & we had our best period of the game .So surely having the Eastend open & City fans in full voice would have a positive effect on the team .At present the players are so lacking in confidence the sound of the fans getting behind them would surely soon start to bring better results.

Well said. The fans were magnificent on friday, standing in the pouring rain and singing twice as loud when it really chucked it down. It would be silly to ignore the power that kind of support gives our players. The East End is the setting to unite those of us who want to give that kind of lift to the team. Keep the campaign going. We cannot allow ourselves to be out-shouted, out-sung at Ashton Gate. This is almost about to happen. A big contingent of away fans in the East End would have the advantage. Dear Steve and Colin, be good listeners on this one please.
