Welcome To The Jungle
CATS.True, although I bet they leave before I leave work. I can get a lift but this is all being done too late and should have been announced about a month ago.
Bs4Red
So if you collect your ticket at 6.15 on the dot, that gives you 1 hour 30 to get into cardiff find parking, walk to the ground and get into the ground? Who comes up with these ideas
Redminster
So a Cardiff-supporting colleague at work and I had made a pact to go to the 2 games this year (in opposite ends!)That's now off. This one was going to involve a night out in Cardiff, and the only way to make that happen is leave work near Aztec super-early, get down to AG to get on a bus to come right past where I work, to hang around in a services in a queue, to be bussed straight into the ground. And then not take the bus back to Bristol again, so incurring extra cost to go home.F. That. This will decimate our following to 3-400 ish.

RumRed
It's like raves in the 80's, hanging around service stations until you get instructions on your pager...

BCFC Jimmer
Time to start writing to your MP. How can these kind of constraints be put on people because of scuffles that happened years ago? Its completly unjust and ruined the game.

sm2webb
What an absolute joke.Watching football is not a crime. How about the police dealing with any issues if they occur and not seek to inconvenience, potentially, thousands of law abiding supporters just wanting to go about their lawful business. Boycotted 'bubble' trips in the past and this is only a slight step away from that approach. It stinks and I would have hoped that our club would have been stronger on this issue. nebristolred
I expect the club had very little say in this so let's not slate them too much. The lack of notice could have been helped I'm sure though.

Spoons
Absolutely no need for this. Joke. Its not a bubble but you have to pick tickets up from services...again! Done this before and its chaos. By time you get tickets etc park your be lucky to see the start of game. Its a monday night , lots of fans will stay at him now and watch game on sky. Shame it will ruin the atmosphere as stadium will be empty. South wales police need to have a good look at themselves. They can cope with over 250,000 rugby fans for world cup but cant cope with 1000 plus city fans.
Sir Colby-Tit
I for one am now hoping the sports bar screen will be working for 26 October nowJust recreate the match at home. The missus has already agreed to make me wait 30 minutes for a coffee at half ttime, throw cups of piss at me from the other sofa and hit me at random intervals with a baton for no apparent reason. Job's a good un
Spoons
Fans lose out again, what could have been 1 of my cheaper away trips ( train return£11) now won't as I have to go to services??!!! I understand previous bad blood , but having the game on a Monday night and on sky would have stopped idiots going anyway.
lenred
Was looking forward to going but with it being on Sky this news has tipped me into the stay in Bristol and watch it on the tv camp. Why they couldn't have announced it earlier I don't know, feel sorry for those of you who have already bought travel tickets.

CyderInACan
Hopefully, as said above, it will be on in the Sports Bar at AG. Anyone with train tickets can write to British Rail and get Food Vouchers in reimbursement. Choo-Choo.
Fatalist
Am I missing the point of this? How does it deter troublemakers, especially as a lot of previous incidents were AFTER the game?
T R
Me and the friends were thinking of going but giving this bubble a boycott now. We have never caused any trouble when we have been there before, we did find the locals to be quite friendly. Bugger if i am getting the train over then a taxi to the service station to pick up tickets, sod it.
Spoons
Am I missing the point of this? How does it deter troublemakers, especially as a lot of previous incidents were AFTER the game?because they won't want to hang around the services when the could be in pub. Most trouble is before the game in my experience at Cardiff. Last time I got tickets from services in Cardiff they make u wait until Last minute to give you ticket then you got to get yourself to ground park etc. Also it rules out anyone going by train as how do u then get to services? By making it difficult to collect tickets it will put all fans off not just trouble makers. I wonder if I will get my money back for my train ticket?? Why this couldn't have been announced when they new game was on sky I don't know. Fans always the last to be thought of.
cider head
I thought it was like a bubble last time we were there? 100's off the train station then pushed in to a pub they could not fit in to but no one could leave and at full time kettled in to the car park with the fence around it and gates locked with a line of Police with battens out, you were then put in an escort and marched all around Cardiff and pushed towards the train station regardless of how you traveled to to Cardiff and not forgetting being baited like animals in a cage being poked and pushed by Police for a reaction so they could arrest you for their statistics.Sod them Cardiff are not getting my money and sadly sky will win this one as i'll pop down the Spanish bar with a pint and watch it there, arm chair supporting sounds the right thing to do than being bullied by the Police on a Monday night.
