  1. This is a good opportunity to show the fans that those days (apart from the odd inevitable slip up that every team has) are well and truly behind us.
  2. It looks as though Pack is being used at home but not away, I agree with this I think he plays much better home. I am surprised that Patterson starts again, I wondered if Eliasson might get a start tonight.
  3. Indeed especially being a wooden structure. it looks very much like a basic £89 flat packed garden gazebo available from most B & Q's or the like.
  4. All joking aside, I would be actually amazed if these chairs and the context in which they are utilised are in anyway conforming to any HSE standards or the stadium certificate. These chairs are notoriously dangerous for legs breaking off when people sit on them.
  5. And there is a nice modern urinal in the bottom left hand part of the photo.
  6. Well the pikey's have tried every way known to man to try to get somebody else to pay for a new ground, something that has been going on for around 40 years, I am surprised that they haven't applied to the BBC's DIY SOS the big build to upgrade the minimal stadium. But then again I expect that is plan A.
  7. Whoa where did I say that?. I am not somebody who has written him off, I have seen glimpses of what he offers but today I thought his general hold up play was poor especially at times when we needed it, but worst of all he seems for a big powerful guy incredibly easy to knock off of the ball and I don't think at times that his closing down of defenders was good enough putting enough pressure on defenders thus making it easy for them to launch fresh attacks and that significantly improved when Taylor came on IMO.
  8. I marked him down because I don't think he is not strong enough and sometimes IMO he doesn't do enough to hold the ball up or to prevent the defender moving the ball far too easily to set up another attack, we looked more of a threat when he went off. Yes we see glimpses but that for me make him more frustrating, but hey it's all about opinions and that is mine.
  9. A great and entirely well deserved point and keeps the run going. We have shown that we can hold our own against the supposed better teams in this league and the squad is capable and working well. Fielding 7 had little to do but what he to do he did well enough. Wright 7 another steady game. Flint 7 won everything in the air. Baker 9 just gets better and better MOM. Bryan 8 another great display. Patterson 6 occasionally casual in dangerous positions and I wish he would hit the ball when in a good position and not stroke it, but overall played his part. Smith 8 with the amount of touches he gets (because he is always available) he will occasionally play loose balls, one great goal saving tackle in the first half and another great overall display, should have hit the target late on. Brownhill 7 another who is occasionally casual in dangerous position, but improving all of the time. Leko 5 never in it and rightly subbed at half time. Reid 6 never gives up and has to be watched at all times, sometimes over complicates things. Diedhiou 5 far too nice and weak, needs to find an aggressive streak. LJ 10 got everything right once more, set up, tactics and substitutions spot on, we are a difficult team to beat at the moment but still have a threat on the break. ODowda 7 he is definitely getting stronger by the game, another who into a good position and tried to stroke the ball instead of putting his laces through it. Taylor 7 like Reid always a threat and works so hard. Pack 7 came on at the right time and steadied the ship again.
  10. We are not playing badly at all. Diedhiou is far too nice, he needs show far more aggression, Leko needs to wake up the game is passing him by, we as a team at times over complicate things especially Reid. But there is something in this game for us, Norwich have been very bitty.
  11. The controversy IMHO is the problem it needs to be thoroughly investigated, was there a reason for the ridiculous score card?, like for instance and just off of the top of my head, certain people making a huge amount of money out of a controversial result and the imminent 2nd fight???? Especially now that all of the necessary publicity is all ready in place. What next take your kids to a weigh in and allow that kid to kick and punch daddy's opponent?, oh hang on!!!!!
  12. The route it has taken is akin to WWE and the sensationalisation that so called sport whips up, the Macgregor fight was bad enough, this latest episode smacks to me being staged managed ala WWE, I am waiting for the day when there will be masked boxers or perhaps fake girlfriends with pumped up knockers walking around the ring trying to trip the opponent up.
  13. Yep and now with the free huge publicity surrounding the controversy, I suppose the route that boxing has taken in recent years the controversy is just a coincidence, that is my point.
  14. And surprise surprise talks started on a re match. The sport is as bent as ****. it's becoming a parody of WWE.
  15. FFS Redkapp?, they would have to suspend all of their Memorial upgrades immediately, no more carpets cleaned, no more new curtains, no more damp proofing of tents, no more kerbs being lowered and most importantly where would that leave Santa's grotto?. How else would 'Arry be able to recruit the normal army of players?. On the bright side I suspect Dopey would be happy with 'Arry's dog becoming the gas's new tax consultant.
  16. Well there's a surprise and of course all of the pre match hype to increase the $$$$$$$ has all ready been written. After the McGregor OG this all that boxing needed.
  17. So are you saying only people who were actually at the game can have an opinion?, I watched the same 90 minutes as people who were at the game on a big screen and had benefit of replays, grow up mate.
  18. I watched the game live on TV, that was my opinion over the whole time he was on the field, you may have a different opinion and you are entitled to that's why it's called an opinion.
  19. From a Derby fans forum. "Derby were second best for most of the game. Bristol’s players were fitter, they worked harder, and theirskill and teamwork were superior. Derby’s players behaved as if the game was won when they scored. They didn’t have another shot on goal until the second half - just two on target for the whole match - andthey sat back inviting attacks from their more energetic opponents. The score probably flattered Derby".
  20. We were excellent for the whole 90 minutes and Derby got exactly what they deserved **** all, they played a team of big time Charlie’s and bitched about every decision. I said at Half time that there was something in this game for us but I never for a moment believed that it was going to be like it was. Fielding 6 is playing well but a couple of rash decisions especially for the penalty and his kicking mark him down. Wright 8 played really well all game. Flint 7 played well but a couple of mistakes. Baker 8 terrific again. Bryan 8 a class act who just gets better. Patterson 8 played well and was a threat throughout and finally found his dead ball radar. Pack 9 he was superb and on any other day would be my MOM. Smith 8 seems to have found his mojo. Leko 7 he is a very dangerous player with incredibly quick feet as he showed with the penalty, ran out of steam and was rightly subbed. Reid 9 MOM, what a game involved in everything, always a danger he is full of confidence and we will do well to keep hold of him. Woodrow 7 played well throughout and took his goal well. LJ 10 got it right again, tactics perfect, game plan perfect, substitutes spot on. Diedhiou 8 to be honest it should be a 7 but took his goal really well and showed some glimpses of what he can be, hopefully the goal might be the turning point. Brownhill 7 came on to steady the ship in midfield and helped to do just that. COD 6 for his cameo.
  21. First of all let me say that we are the better side by some distance, Derby are another so called top side along with Villa, Reading and Wolves who have failed to overly impress me, but you have to take your chances and Woodrow and Leko missed 2 really great chances. It was definite penalty Fielding knew it but he it was ball he should never have gone for the player was going wide, I would like to see the build up again but it looked as though there was a distinct lack of centre midfield cover and if Fielding kicks another ball directly into touch LJ has my permission to shove it up his arse. We had 5 free kicks in their half, 4 of them in dangerous positions Jesus H Christ ******* woeful is an insult to woeful, Patterson's (who is playing ok) was by far the worst as is his crossing, 3 attempted crosses 2 hit the first defender and and the 2nd just like his free kick went straight into touch. There is something in this game for us as long as we don't panic but we have to take our chances.
  22. Fielding, Wright, Flint, Baker, Bryan, Paterson, Pack, K.Smith, Leko, Reid, Woodrow
