  1. Absolutely right. And today we have the England RFU coming out saying "solid progress" has been made in this tournament ? Pull the other one.
  2. Game on...? Still a lot to do, mind.
  3. 19 wickets fallen in four days is very embarrassing. Dreadful wickets.
  4. Zero salt here, just pure disappointment you couldn't see off the French. We gave them a better game in Cardiff. Wonderful to hear that England Rugby has fallen so far that there's "no shame" in losing to France. A solid third placed finish in a six team tournament for the biggest country in world rugby ??
  5. Fantastic that two weeks on the trot you've gone early, only for England to provide full embarrassment. Useless *****. So happy Eddie is taking you to another WC, where you will be humiliated, again. Great stuff. Biggest and richest RFU in the world don't forget.
  6. What time mate? British World Champ to be fair to him
  7. WTF. Been at the beach all day and I come back to THIS. Now I've got to support England in the game later, as want the Irish to win the Championship over the French all day long. Vile.
  8. Think we'd already decided to sell before Matthews joined on loan at the end of July. But, yeah...
  9. I've been watching three hours straight and would have to agree. It can be painful watching cricket on the sub-continent but this is a joke with not much prospect of a result. Stokes/Blackwood was the liveliest it got. Until now, fair play Lawrence!
  10. Agree with that. Worst sporting event I've ever attended. I get reinvited into hospitality every year and turn it down. Another three horses destroyed at the festival this year. Bemuses me that horse racing doesn't get pulled up on the safety record more. Over 5k horses killed in racing in this country in the past 20 or so years. Piss poor. Then again the links between Conservative party donors and horse racing are well know, I suppose.
  11. That's believable. England do travel in huge numbers. Must have been a few thousand in Galle in 2012 but by the time the series got to Colombo they estimated 7k England and the ground was packed. Must admit I enjoyed India in 2016 more when there was probably only a couple of thousand in Mumbai and even less in Chennai, maybe as few as 500. More authentic being away and outnumbered by home support. As nice as Barbados is, I'm not too gutted to not be there as the island must be like one big England football away day at the moment. The Test I'd have chosen would've been the next one in Grenada, much less developed island, more chilled, and less England!
  12. This is what happens when you give the likes of Stokes a strong base to work from. Mental amount of English there, must be 10k
  13. Citing "sporting integrity" as the reason. You couldn't make it up...

  15. It was a perfect example of a seasoned and talented amateur against a heavy handed but limited pro. Conlan outboxed Wood, but the latter always had that winning shot in him. Wood's lack of head movement, standing there to be hit, will surely see him found out at a higher level, but it'll be good to see him give it a go
  16. That's really worrying. Wasn't a hard shot at all and Mick just collapsed. Concerning.
  17. Wow. Conlan gave Wood a shoeing in that round till the knockdown.
  18. Last 4 been tricky to score but Wood really has no defence... needs a ko surely
  19. KITR stole the kids pens and paper scorecard is back
