Boro are rumoured to be paying £1.5m to Rotherham for Barlaser. He's a similar age to Cornick and also with only six months left on his current deal. So £300k for Cornick seems decent, compared to that deal.

What's the hype with Lamouchi? His record looks bang average and most recently he's been managing in Qatar. Forest fans seem to love him but his record there just looks average.

Yes, this is possible. I was told the Lloyd Kelly deal had £7m of add-ons taking the potential deal to £21m. Some of those we may never see. Some, for example, were dependent on England caps. It was widely reported our valuation for Antoine was £15m, so I wonder if it's £9m upfront and £6m of potential add-ons. Would then have similarities with the Kelly deal.

Leaked by James Piercy I.e. at the City end. Suggests we've leaked it to put pressure on Luton to sell.

That must have been restricted view tickets. Most started at £80

That is steep, though 250ml is a very large glass of wine; it's a third of a bottle.

Looks in form though. Two goals and two assists in his last few games.

Couple of injuries. One was a hamstring.

We'll probably never know for sure. However, Hughton is alleged to have interviewed poorly according to Ashton. Turned up and tried to wing it. Paul Cook was ruled out as he has some "personal issues" shall we say. A big reason why he is now managing in the National League, despite having a very good record in the football league.

Fair enough. The player I see most in the village is Nahki. Bloody loves that Co-op.

If you'd told me circa 2010 that in around 10 years time we'd be selling our best young players to Bournemouth for fees of £14m and £9m respectively, I'd have assumed you were a crackhead.

Yes, he's said something like "it was always my ambition to return to English football" too. So guessing that's what inspired the nationality test.

Seems fairly obvious to me he's come here to play games. Saturday would be the ideal opportunity to give him a start, as it could be justified to Max as giving the new boy a run out and a rest for Max. Either way, I'd expect Haikin to get a run of games in the first team sooner rather than later. Lived in England for four years as a teenager.

Learn something every day. I knew the likes of Korey Smith, Kalas, Kodjia, Diedhiou etc lived in LA but never heard Bentley mentioned, nor seen him here.

Whenever I think "I wish we could sign someone"
Kid in the Riot replied to 1960maaan's topic in Football Chat
We paid Diony £20k pw whilst he was here. Can't remember what the loan fee was. Not many people realise we paid a 7-figure loan fee for Tammy Abraham. Nothing compared to Swansea though, I think they paid Chelsea a £6m loan fee for him. With a contribution to wages on top of that, and he wasn't even a regular starter for them. -
From the age of 13 to 17. Comfortably enough time for a young un to pick up English.

He's spoken out against Russia's invasion of Ukraine, so he is OK with me. Sounds like he is from a family of Russian Jews.

Cc: our Norwegian correspondent @terpin Bodo/Glimt have been a huge underdog success story these last few years, and it seems their fans loved him.

You're probably best off just buying a flight to France. I've never had any baked goodies over here that taste like they do in France. Even chains of Paul somehow manage to be inferior on this side of the channel. You could try one of the two best bakeries in Bristol (imo) Farro or Harts.

We signed him for £2m and he's out of contract in the summer. On what planet can we ask for £700k?
