I said a while back this is the reason the ECB created The Hundred and are persisting with it. They didn't secure the franchise rights of T20 cricket but they have done with The Hundred so stand to make a lot of money out of it. This £400m offer is way below market value but bigger bids are inevitable. Agree. I think people questioned the fact they have a pretty average striker in Morata, but he's playing well, and as Spanish teams (and manager - Pep) have proven in recent history, you don't necessarily need a top striker to win things. Remember they were pretty unlucky to lose out to Italy in that Euro semi last year too.
