  1. Have they replaced the grass in the centre circle and part of the 18 yard box? I'm guessing that's why it's darker.
  2. Have a closer look fella. They done kits as well. In the past https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/7496656/fc-fossombrone-dirk-bikkembergs/
  3. Indeed it is...but I find Italian Zinfandel from Puglia, far more intense and with a really long fruity finish. By comparison, Californian examples imo are weaker in intensity.ikke Ive done a few wine courses back in the day. I have a little knowledge. There's a lot of style over substance in the industry imo. I'm all for blind tastings bringing down the established pompous French establishment. The recent victory by Woodchester Valley in Nailsworth is a prime example. Check out their Bacchus as well. As for Bikkembergs...it does say on the link I gave. They are infamously known for FC fosseimbrone.
  4. That is an awesome effort. You've witnessed so much. I wish I had your years under my belt.
  5. I did when once...we had the most wonderful 3 months of fun afterwards. Sadly I left for another Company and we parted ways. She was a right goer. I'll trump your kiss with Vinny Jones grabbing Gazzas balls. Try that in the office ??
  6. He obviously has talent, and he ' lucked out' by one person giving him an opportunity. Football is often seen as a closed shop, jobs for the boys etc...but analysis and such like, is more to the fore front, and people from outside football are starting to get opportunities. Watching his training sessions and interview, it shows he has something about him. Sometimes you just nee that bit of luck. He comes across so we'll.
  7. Reminds me off my Dad, who had a scar on his shin, that was perfectly round. A player tackled him, he had no pads on, this was back in the day when they nailed the studs into the sole of thep boot. The stud was left in his shin...he had to pull it out on the pitch. ?? I guess the chances of getting it big time on the shin these days is a lot less, than before. Hence so many players reverting to really small pads.
  8. Italian Primitivo is by far my fav red. You tried it? I'll trump your Armani with....?? ? https://www.bikkembergs.com/gb-en/
  9. What a fantastic interview that is. You can't help but warm to the lad. Worth a watch.
  10. Maybe...depends on whether Arsenal would want to sell or loan again...or keep. I like this French lad playing in Italy at the moment as well, for Sassuolo. Not sure of the limitations re visas.
  11. Yes he is. I posted it in the transfer section. Still might be worth a look.
  12. I also be looking at their CF. 21 years old, English, 17 goals this season. https://www.whoscored.com/Players/384065/Show/Folarin-Balogun
  13. It really is remarkable what he's achieving.
  14. This season at Yate has been one of the worst I've ever seen. Lost the manager and assistant from last season. Lost the whole squad from last season. Turnover of staff behind the scenes, then some coming back. Awful appointment of Beadle. Shocking football under him. He lost the players and fans. And since the return of local manager Rendal, as @Silvio Dante says, it's been a turnover of players leaving, joining, loans in and out. You don't know what you are going to get one week from the next. I was speaking to Yate Legend Pete Jackson today...he also can't remember such a muddled season. Sad times, as it's a decent Club. Sadly can't compete financially at this level.
  15. That's a given. However...you need both these days, especially with the high intensity of the Championship, the amount of games, and the fact NP wants to play faster, high intensive football, with an aim on running and high fitness levels.
  16. India has a diverse diet...it's such a vast country. Many of the coastal regions and southern areas consume lots of fish and shell fish. More than chicken or meat. Pulses and veg are the main diet however. So it may seem pretentious RR...but in fact it's not. When I've been to Goa and Kerala as well as Sri Lanka...I pretty much lived off fish, prawns, crabs and even lobster. There was an abundance. So to serve it in a restaurant is a true reflection ?
  17. From my experience, it's harder to change ' personality ' than improve ability. We know the Club don't like ' bad eggs', but they also give second chances. He obviously has ability. Fingers crossed he doesn't miss a great opportunity in life, down to a bad attitude.
  18. I guess it's down to attitude. Show the right attitude and have ability, and you'll be ahead of those who have ability but a 'questionable' attitude. As Fev says...NP said Idehan has practiced with the first team recently, and they'll be looking at him.again. Making him Captain in the recent U21 game probably shows some hope as well.
  19. Fair play to OTC on making his debut. Never thought after watching him at Yate this season, he'd be playing in the Championship so soon. An even bigger surprise was seeing young Callum Wood on the bench today. I watched him last week, again for Yate Town. He actually has looked decent in recent weeks. Great to see these lads develop and kick on so quickly.
  20. I'm expecting Weimann to play. In today's Presser, Np speaks about talking to Weimann today, his ability to play in various positions/being adaptable.
  21. The one question I would have asked...is why didn't Massengo want to be here? Nige might not have given an answer, or said, ' ask him', but at least ask it.
  22. I'm sure I read somewhere, that the Club want to bring back programmes next season. ??
  23. It's nothing to do with me. Just shared someone else's video. ?
  24. ....this is a new one on me. Never knew this existed. So far up and obscured they give you a screen to watch ? Does this happen at other clubs?
