It’s a sell out. We have have had a number of sell outs this season. West Ham, Forest, Leeds and now Leicester are the games I can recall. I am wondering when we had more home sell outs in a season.
On tickets sold. There will be plenty of season ticket holders not there, myself included . Actual fans in the ground will be well below a sell out imo.

Take your point. So we're agreed it ain't happening, but even if it did, there is little chance of getting a credible replacement.
I certainly don’t trust the powers that be to get the next appointment , or any decision right for that matter

On what evidence do you believe that might happen? Serious question!
If you read the whole post . You’ll see it was hypothetical

I am seriously starting to wonder whether a right shellacking tomorrow is the only way that this mess will get dealt with swiftly and properly. More weeks of this will not do anybody any favours.......except Jon and Brian who are clearly having fun at the moment.
Trouble is . If we get a hiding & I don’t just mean score line but a Leeds type hammering . He gets sacked . Then what . We got a bumbling fool running the club , like a kid pissing about at home when his parents are out & his idiot teknical director , who will be choosing the next “forward thinking “ coach . Shambles

I can remember a number of years ago on here, when it was debated about JL being handed the reins after SL took a back seat . We all seemed fairly confident that JL wasn’t interested & had more or less moved abroad . Plus how ill suited he would be for the role. Our nightmares have come to fruition

It might be on the market but they are not exactly queuing around the block to buy it.
Perhaps you’d happy to have ownership like the sags have got, I’d rather have the Lansdowns. We’ll be back in the same league as the gas soon enough with this lot in charge. They’ve had their time . The club is stale with them in charge now.

The only other home nation i'd support is Northern Ireland.
Can't stand the others, got massive chips on both shoulders. Can never understand any Englishman wishing Wales, Scotland or Republic of Ireland well.
Agree. Inferiority complex the taffs & jocks. I always thought the Scot’s acted like international gas heads . Don’t really care how we get on as long as don’t achieve anything . Both only started qualifying after uefa & fifa made it idiot proof

Get the **** out can’t believe there’s any Englishman that wants that lot to go through . They detest us & the feelings mutual

I don't do any of those so wouldn't know. Although the thought of fishing, just being away from everything in nature is appealing.
Fishing is brilliant for mental health , relaxation . I haven’t managed to get out yet this year .I Have a weeks holiday booked end of April , fishing . Cottage , close to the lakes . Bliss.

Amazed he's in front of Maddison.
Different players . Gallagher is more of a spoiler imo . Mainoo would be better in his place . Maddison for in more advanced areas

And punting the ball into touch cos he panics
Not just that . He doesn’t read the game quick enough at that level . He’s committing fouls all the time because he’s a yard off in his head. Don’t get how the young manc lad ain’t on for him .

Haven’t read the thread so don’t know if discussed. Gallagher is chasing shadows at this level

Can’t be applied this season as it’s brought by the premier league for last season. Any points deduction would probably start from the start of next season if back in the prem .

Just had mine. Burst out laughing when I saw it

You know how you can prove to the doubters that you “know football”?
Appoint a competent / experienced CEO.
Appoint a competent / experienced DoF.
Appoint a competent / experienced Manager.
Let the 3 appointments above overhaul recruitment.
We already have a decent Academy.
Set a budget and let them do what they have built their reputations on without interference.
Good idea. Slight flaw in your plan though. The man who owns the toy can’t help but want to play with it from time to time .

I think if we'd lost every game under his tenure, then I'd be calling for his head right now. The fact is, though, there have been glimpses of good quality - and i'm curious to see what he could do given a transfer window
Why ? Can’t you see he’s not getting a tune of a squad that should be performing better than it is. Hes not up to it.

I'm prepared to give Manning a little more time. He's undoubtedly an intelligent guy who understands the technicalities of football
That’s the bare minimum of working in professional football as a coach at any level . Hardly good enough qualifications to manage a championship club

What is getting promoted in a "pure" way? I'm all ******* ears on this...................
JP did say it. At a guess I’d say . He wants a squad largely of academy kids . All good lads . Class of 92 type scenario . It’s not purity though , it’s insanity .

Yeah, and it's getting in the way of the players playing, and the coach coaching. And the coach referred to "negativity" himself. Implication seems clear.
Reading it the wrong way. They’re not saying it’s our fault . The atmosphere is like it because it’s been created by the clubs decisions
