I don’t think he was blaming the fans at all.
I haven’t seen the South stand so empty in a long time, and like the Stoke game the atmosphere was flat from the start.
Ashton Gate is a super venue for away fans, if they travel in any numbers they can create a great atmosphere for their team filling the Atyeo.
For what it’s worth I think Nige will be dismissed and I think we will be relegated.
Nailed on, we give the away teams points start. As an ex Eastender of the 60's, I cringe when I see the Atyeo nowadays in a key match.

Yet the UK has the 4th most millionaires in the world. The money is there it's just not shared out!
In my day, Harry Dolman was the only millionaire I knew. Now, even boot boys at Prem Clubs are millionaires

RIP Ronnie, glad you were remembered by the club. One of the best goals I have seen in 60+ years of watching football.

Anyone got a steam with commentary, all I get it the a link to click to unmute player which normally takes you to a stripper feed or alarmingly a feed of some fella rather enjoying the use of his right hand on the front seat of his car. Perhaps it was an ad for upholstery cleaner and I just never got to the tag line

After starting to watch and support City in 1958, my ups and downs of following this club are probably similar to many others. An Eastender in my teens, moving North with old mans job and following Sheff Wed but still keeping an eye on the club ( No internet then) going to Elland Road when Gary Sprake was sent off, moving back to Bristol at 19, taking missus on 1st date to watch a match, sponsoring supporters club with my business in the 70's, Crackers corner v Pompey to get promotion, watching Norman Hunter debut at Baseball Ground, watching fall and rise of my beloved 1982 club ! ST holder all around the ground till this season when for 1st time in a long time did not renew.............No particular reason, 72 this year, getting weary, medical probs for last year with vertigo. Am I still a fan ? I'm on OTIB on a match day.......the flame is still and will always be there.

Pre Dolman Stand?
Yep, as my name suggests, Dad used to stand at back of the terracing and I stood on a wooden stool he built me with my back against the front of the old stand or Cowshed as twas known.

Genuine question…at what point do you think we say enough is enough?
If we start going adrift at the bottom say by October, thats the time

Norwich are bottom of the league did the bookmakers forecast that? This club really has the worst most negative pessimistic fans in the country or anywhere else for that matter.
Mate, we have taken decades of false hope to earn that title at least the Canaries have seen the Prem !!!

Seen 4 rovers shirts at Balloon fiesta last few days, coming out of their hovels after promotion eh?
I work at Bristol Airport as a dispatcher. Fun when I see a guy in quarters about to board aircraft and I tell him he cant fly ! Always reply ' Why' ' cos you'll have to take that shirt off !! ' You're obviously a Sh*thead is the reply. Good banter though. Other day saw a guy in new City top and said ' great shirt ' to him, he didnt understand a word I said.

I wonder if that was the game we won about 5/6-0? My old man always used to say that Leyton Orient were the worst side he'd ever seen !
It could well have been , its such a long time ago and I was 8 ! It obviously kept my interest and if I knew then what I know now, who knows what could have happened

Quite a powerful article about grief and football.

What a lovely article. My dad took me to AG for my first match in 1958. His dad was from Knowle and an ardent City supporter. Was the days of if you were born north of the Avon ...you were blue, and south....you were thankfully Red. After a few years, we went our separate ways, me to the East End and him to the enclosure with his half brother ( father to @CyderInACan and @SuperDziek) City was constantly a major bond in our life and we did now and then meet up for one of the 'biggies' Luckily Dad and I saw us win in 1966 and again saw us play in the old Division One. So we have been blessed. I lost Dad in 1995 and believe me, it hurt, no longer could I rush home and ring him about our win over ABC team. I had two daughters, neither interested in football, but have a grandson who has just turned 7 and is now ready to take on our legacy. I just have to prepare him for his ordeal he will have to go through !! COYR
