They used to charge £10
Pretty sure it’s a fiver - still a bit rich but a deterrent to stop people doing it every week.

I had a pair of lucky boxers in my 20s - they were bloody amazing, after being worn to shreds they met their demise getting ripped off by 2 fit girls.
So they worked up till the bitter end.

Fully resigned to fact he leaves by the close of this window - he/we wont take the risk of picking up an injury at the end of the season. He nearly went end of last season was it not for the injury.
Don’t expect us to sign a ready made replacement as we’ll wait on inured players to return or/& sign a lower league striker/play Sam Bell.
Really hope our scouting network is out there searching for the next AS.

The Elton John gigs last year the robbing gits I can confirm were charging £50. God knows why someone would pay that but people did.
Might as well park in KFC and take a chance on a PCN.

AS body language on the pitch suggests this has been in the offing for some time. The only complication is Conway’s injury.

If we've said he's gone for £25m then I have a feeling we're driving up the price before an inevitable sale, people saying £20m, the highest ever purchase by a team in the Championship was Wolves and they only paid £15.8m and that was for Ruben Neves, I just can't see them paying £20m+ for Scott when arguably one of their best midfielders only set them back £15.8m. I know they are Premier League now but even so Neves is an insanely good talent and I'd argue a lot better when Wolves signed him than Scott is now. I know Scott being English may squeeze some more money out of the deal but I honestly think we'll accept £15m for him what with our current financial status, it sucks to be a fan because we all know £20m+ is what we'd like but I just don't see us getting it.
Wolves are in the Prem albeit very near the bottom

The main decision that SL needs to make is whether he takes investment/sells Bristol City Football Club Ltd or Bristol City Holdings Ltd. The current structure is as below, and it really isn't that complex when compared to other company structures. As you can see, Bristol Sport Ltd is actually a sister company of Bristol City Holdings Ltd. Despite what many fans will tell you Bristol Sport does not own any part of Bristol City Football Club. There will be contractual agreements between the Club company and Bristol Sport, but that does not constitute ownership. Likewise the Rugby club owns no part of the football club or Ashton Gate.
Basically, does SL want to keep hold of the stadium - owned by Ashton Gate Ltd., or does he want to sell the whole lot and take a clean break? I have no idea, but it would make a huge difference to both the potential valuation of the sale/investment and to the future stability of the club. I'd guess that the stadium would add £40-50m to any valuation(a guess of a figure).
As fans we should want SL to take investment or sell the whole package, stadium company and club company. Doing this keeps the stadium packaged with the club and so provides any new owner with control of the three main assets that make up our club - membership of the EFL, player contracts (which are with Bristol City Football Club Ltd), and the stadium. That's what you buy, and that's where the value is. That means selling the Holding company, or more likely setting up a new company, and selling Bristol City Football Club Ltd and Ashton Gate Ltd to that NewCo. The women's club company would go with it as a subsidiary of Bristol City Football Club Ltd.
Rugby would continue to be a tenant of Ashton Gate Ltd - and that should cause no issue if the new owner is honest and in good faith. Likewise the Club could easily continue to licence or rent things from Bristol Sport Ltd under its current contracts. In terms of structuring the deal the existence of Bristol Sport, and the relationship that the Football Club has with Bristol Sport and the Rugby Club should have very little negative impact on any new investor.
Thanks for breaking this down, with that structure in place I would suggest a sale of Bristol City Holdings is the most likely possibility of any.
Bristol Bears as a tenant until SL builds them their own stadium, although he’ll bankrolling that in perpetuity as there is zero money in Rugby, so maybe they stay as a tenant & it’s pitched as an income stream.

What about the offside for Wells in the last 10 mins? That was odd, we we’re sat behind the Lino; when the ball was played Nahki was onside but Weiman was offside, Weiman pulled back onside & Wells ran through the space.
The limo must have confused the players and flagged, very amateur officiating

Swansea looked a better team, without creating anything or causing us problems. Apart from a give-away goal they didn't have a shot on target until about 80 minutes . We didn't really cause them problems until we changed shape , but if we were allowed Pens we could easily have nicked it.
Hope Weimann is OK, forgot you could only use Subs in 3 spells and wondered why Pearson was telling him to go off.
Probably a fair result, but I really want to see the 2/3 Pen shouts again. In real time I thought there were 2 decent Penalty appeals.Definitely a fair result - 1st half Swansea looked impressive, pleased with our response 2nd half, could have nicked it.
So many penalty shouts today.

James was decent although not outstanding but certainly doesn’t justify being called out in his own thread.

Something he & the club should seriously consider. By far the most affordable option of adding new ideas without throwing the baby out with the bath water.
My gut is he’s probably past the point of turning anything around here without reinforcements in coaching & players.

5th biggest city in UK based on population (572k)in which case that definitely make us the 2nd biggest underachievers, the top spot undoubtedly goes to our friends the blue few.

I like Pearson's approach to the overall running of the football side of the club and he's had a positive effect so I'd want to keep him at least until the end of the season, if not longer. But I suspect while he's good at instilling values he's also stubborn & possibly not so great at motivating the modern sports professionals, we've seen how cantankerous he can be in interviews & when back's are against the wall that attitude is a risky approach.
My preference would be to create a role for Pearson away from match day / day to day with squad & promote Euell into the Head Coach role until the end of the season, give him the freedom to make cultural, tactical & personnel decisions, get a buzz amongst the team. I get the impression the squad have a lot of respect for him.
So no, Nigel shouldn't walk but he could take the lift upstairs.

The bloke is pathetic. Putting half arsed performances so he is ready for the World Cup. Here’s hoping he doesn’t get selected
I know your just angry but talk about cut your nose off despite your face.
Semenyo has a good WC his value goes up & comes back full of confidence ready help us get to safety & then leaves in the summer at a decent fee.
if he has a slight knock or niggle he will no doubt be trying not to aggravate as you would too if you were playing at the same level.
a lot of PL teams are having similar issues with availability due to an awkwardly timed World Cup in Qatar.
Down to the manager to recognise that and select the best team for the game.

Does it apply to the hospitality section? Asking for a friend

When entering the ground last night,I was confronted by a steward in A8 section (disabled), I was asked my name which I gave, she said they've had a complaint about swearing ,the person who complained was a old man with a little girl, I was told to calm done on my swearing, which I replied, well if they're affended by verbal language at a football ground don't take the kids to football, or go into the family stand, I phone Supporters services this morning, they totally agreed with me,
For me it’s all about context, swearing in the appropriate context is fine by me.
What we’re you saying?

All well & good but come the end of the season we’ll lose some of our best players, which halts the progress & we’re back to square one. There’s no way we keep Scott & Semenyo, very possible Conway interest & Wells OOC.
We have potential this season but it’s not transpiring into results & unless we go on an almighty run after the WC it will be more of the same.
Can’t fault the players efforts in most games but we really are a frustrating team.

Cornick vs Weimann

It was great to bring on 3 pacey forwards at the 60 min mark, something we’ve missed & no doubt this relentless pressure won us the game.
Saw enough from HC today to feel confident with what he can add to the team.
