Milan Djuric there in the video too. Forgot he existed. Remember when Ampadu was gunna be the next big thing? Hasn't done shit... except get sent off.
... and why do Venezia shirts not have a badge? Are they like the crap Man City ones?
8 hours ago, Portland Bill said:Ampadu is just 21 years old, has lots of International caps for Wales, has played in the Premier league, the German league, and now the Italian league, he is still a Chelsea player.
I repeat, he is 21 years old…. not exactly someone who “hasn’t done shit”!!
Spot on @Portland Bill, knowing how players proceed through the Chelsea system, I'd agree with you that he's doing pretty well as a 21 year old. Gaining a lot of experience abroad is exactly what he should be doing now.
He may or may not become a big thing, but he certainly has done way more than your appraisal of his career to date.

I know it’s not FM, but you could arguably play
Palmer/Scott/Wiemann
behind a Wells or even a Martin on Tuesday.
HNM and James can sit and those 3 would hopefully mean the ball was on the ground more, so would suit them.
4-2-3-1
we literally can’t get any worse @ home!
Uh oh

City 0
Forest 6"

It'll be the normal trying to walk the ball in to the net, tippy tappy on the edge of the box.
0-4 would be my guess, Tammy opening goal.

In his opinion it’s good news. In yours it’s news! You don’t need to repeat your view. Simple really
Thanks for that, I'll class your input as news, rather than good news. Definitely not bad news though..

I watched City Ladies vs. Sunderland last Sunday and was suitably impressed by the referee. Commanded respect, rightfully so, and also got key decisions right.

And I’m disagreeing with you, and saying it IS good news. That’s all
Oh, Mr Disagreeable !
I'll certainly be intrigued to see how they get on and I'm sure they'll do just fine.

Interesting question, womens tennis, cricket & Aussie Rules football have their own competitions in Oz, is it the same in the UK?
Very much so (with the exception of Aussie Rules, of course).

It’s a step toward equality for female officials. Good news in my book!
Like I said, it isn't bad news, but neither is it good news.
It's news, that's all.

And pray tell us why this is good news as it sounds a rather strange thing to say.
Just what I was thinking too.
Not suggesting it's bad news, but how it's construed as good news, I have no idea!

Hi @CiderCraig hope you & your daughter enjoy the game this Sunday. If you're beginning on following the team, I suggest you follow the City Women thread, and also check out the Vixencast podcast I co-host, if podcasts are your thing.
I'm also one of the City Women Fans reps for the Supporters Club & Trust, so if you have any more questions, please let me know, or email citywomen@bristolcitysupporters.orgThank you for the information, very kind of you.
I've taken her to a couple of men's matches in Weston, also an England v Spain women's International and thought the chance to introduce her to Bristol City in a slightly less daunting surrounding than Ashton Gate (that will come in time though!).
I'm looking forward to it and will give the thread you've mentioned a visit. Will also down the podcast and listen on the journey up/back on Sunday (presuming it's child-friendly?!).
Thanks once again,
Craig

Taking my daughter to see Bristol City women v Sunderland next Sunday, has anyone been there yet who can advise whether there is cover over the seating area please?
Weather looks dubious and wondered whether we're in for a potential soaking!
Cheers guys

Centre forward half about aswell Ramirez.
4 hours ago, Red Skin said:Is that what you meant to type? Or do I just not understand a ******* word anyone under 25 says anymore?
2 hours ago, sglosbcfc said:Probably means Ramirez is half decent as well. He is a signing from the MLS and has good pedigree. Hibs won 3-0 as well, a good night for the Scots in Europe.
He may have meant to say that, but I'm as baffled by what he actually typed as it's complete gibberish!

Was always going to be the case we would be in Tier 3, our infection rate might be dropping but is still horrendous.
By the way, 696 people died of Coronavirus yesterday in Britain, this whole “save Xmas” stuff is nauseating.
So we can't do 'anything' from the 2nd to the 16th of December, but from the 23rd it's absolutely fine to have 12 people in your house, sitting around a table.... explain the 'kin logic in that?!

Like before, I fully respect yours and @Sheltons Army opinion (among others), but we are on opposite ends of the spectrum we our views on this subject.
I'm of the believe that as long as the correct measures are followed, for everyone from the moment they leave home to returning home.
Pubs and public transport were working fine with the measures brought in, and with the social distancing added into the ground I would be very confident that it would be safe to return
I do appreciate people don't always agree with this, but for me the returning of games is much more than just watching a game of football.
As someone who still struggles with serious mental health problems I can't begin to tell you how much it would help someone like me
During the last lockdown I was a guest of a company having a meal etc and watching the Norwich game at the ground, the impact of just being around familiar surroundings and the odd familiar face was massive
That can't be denied, but I wonder how much is down to people not following precautionary measures?
Have dropped you a private message mate.

Not sure what following they have back in the UK or how many watch them play. I love looking at the Bristol City progress. This week city 2 spurs 2. Chloe Logarzo only 25 years old scored and is a great prospect for the club, came from Sydney in oz and has great potential. The other City goal was from Ebony Salmon. I hope they receive the support back in the UK they deserve.
Not sure if they play at BS3 or another home venue ?
They receive a reasonable bit of coverage and backing here. Sadly they now play their home games at Twerton Park (ex- Bristol Rovers potato field) so I'd imagine not many people wishing to travel that far in the current climate (assuming spectators were allowed).
Used to see them when they played in Bristol, an entertaining Sunday afternoon, 20 minutes up the motorway!

So. A few weeks ago, Derby received a loan from a 3rd party, which was secured against the stadium.
Given this decision, it seems it was a legitimately priced purchase when Morris bought the stadium.
So, Derby now don’t own the stadium. So the loan, being secured against the stadium, would surely be a loan to Morris himself (as stadium owner) and not to the club. Thus, this loan money can’t be money directly given to the club, but to Morris. Thus would only be able to be used as part of his own cash injections into the club, not as a source of ‘club’ earnings.
Presumably?
Clearly...

Decent first half performance, energy & ambition. Afobe through the middle, looking sharp. Nagy & Smith in amongst everything, Vyner looking comfortable
Well done City

Picture the scenario City need to get something from the Preston game to confirm the play offs. it's hard not to imagine fans congregating outside the stadium in anticipation and similarly in the play offs
