Ok, let's have a look at the facts then...
1) Swindon Town were formed before the Gas.
2) Wally and his family are no where near as wealthy as SL.
3) They haven't averaged over 10k at home for 4 decades, they play in a small ground (that they never fill) in front of tents for stands. They've never even played top flight football.
So no, none of those claims in the picture are 'official' in the slightest. Some of their fans really don't help themselves and its no wonder everyone laughs at them....deluded idiots.

You're right about not being noisy...I lived in Horfield for several years and you couldn't tell when they were home, ******* silent every home game which was a bit of a surprise considering how much they've always blown their own trumpet about making an atmosphere. When I was a young kid in Bedminster you could always hear the crowd at the Gate.
As for the length of this thread, it's only this big due to the ammunition they've given us over the last few years, in particular the hilarious year in the '5th division'. Comedy gold, such a funny little football club.
I'll miss them when they up sticks like a 'franchise' club and move out of Bristol again.

Whenever the subject of attendances is brought up you claim the only reason for your lower crowd figures are the smaller ground you occupy, even though you rarely sell out home games in that smaller ground.....but then that's only because you haven't got nice comfy seats to sit in and your plastic fans won't turn up if they've got to stand up or sit in a tent.
Genuine question for you....
When you're in the UWE Stadium, with your billionaire Arab sugar daddy bankrolling you, what excuses will you use for losing to City and having lower attendances than us?

Windass inflicted disappointment on us, Daniel inflicted the ultimate embarrassment on them.
Id much rather be in our position than theirs even if they are doing quite well for a club who are only in their second season as a football league outfit.

If I remember rightly I think they did, although it is the only time they've been there in 30 years....just like this trip to Brammell Lane. Games against genuinely big clubs at big grounds will always draw out larger numbers of travelling supporters for clubs like the Gas who rarely get the chance to go to these venues. We're the same when Newcastle find themselves in the Chanpionship.
Whilst both Sheffield teams are much bigger than us we have become used to playing at these grounds. Would the Gas take much more than 400 to Hillsborough early in the season on a Tuesday night if they'd played there 10 times in the last couple of decades?
Doubt it very much.
