Yeah it's easy to spot who it is he'll be saying `got dem shiteds all riled up haven't o UTG`

Except I'm grateful for the oppourtunity to post about how shit their support is compared to ours because every Gashead I know is totally obsessed with attendances, despite the fact our home and away followings have been better than theirs for decades

Cheers Weezord you poor embarrassed Saghead.

Although that might explain why s/he doesn't realise we've sold out most of our home games so far this season. As I'm sure all the sags are aware of this.  Aren't they?

Not the Sags I know, it's the sort of fact they like to ignore because it makes their own support look even more laughable.

26k for a Play Off Final, probably the most important game in their history whilst we took 42k for a 'Paint Pot Trophy' final...

Does it hurt seeing Southampton playing in the premiership whilst you're playing the likes of York and Accrington Stanley? Must kill you inside.

    He/she isnt a Pompey fan...

Just some over excited Saghead predicting the future again but too ashamed to admit who they really support. Can't blame them really...

If they do get promoted to L1 I wonder if they'll get home crowds of over 10k?...I know they didn't last time...or anytime since the early 70's.

Which is funny considering their bizarre obsession with attendances

I'm a Pompey fan. We got more on the bank holiday in league 2 than you've had all season in the Championship.

Why would a Pompey fan think to themselves at 11:40 on a Tuesday night "must bump that thread on the Bristol City fans forum"?

Either a weirdo or closet Gas too ashamed to admit it.

    Bump

Ha, still in the basement aren't you?

Shame you couldn't manage to attract 10,000 fans at home on a bank holiday when you're challenging for promotion.

Still, why break the habit of the last 40 years with your average home gates of less than 10k?

    I can guess...

"ere m'lud, we told those ******* SHITHEADS that we were getting a new ground, proper took the piss about walking our dogs...then Sainsburys shafted us 'up the gas', and they pissed themselves laffin..

Reading between the lines, it seems even the more sensible of them are really starting to get a bit twitchy.

    Maybe.

However, true to form, most of them are too busy masterbating about Cotterills next interview, Steve Lansdown's imminent departure from AG and "this time next year blah blah blah" to care about what's going on behind the scenes at the Mem.

See you in,league 1 next season, the BRISTOL SPORT THING? Like your dreams, will fade and die... UTG!

    Oh, this old chestnut...

"this time next year...blah, blah, blah"

"Lansdown will get bored...blah, blah, blah"

**** off and think of something original instead of the shit you've all been spouting continuously since 2001.

Think UWE can pull out anytime they want.

Thing is, why on Earth would they want to do that? Possibility of a 22000 all seater stadium on the campus in exchange for a bit of land without the annoyance of actually having to get too involved in the legal battle. Even if they lose to Sainsburys Higgs, Sexton and co seem confident of securing the funding from elsewhere.

Id have thought UWE were in a relatively no lose situation with all this.

Whilst the sags are panicking over what it means to their future now that the minimal has been designated an Asset of Community Value, the ever so knowledgeable Finnish Gas came up with ...

"At least we have the consolation that no-one in Bristol (including the Greens) thinks Ashton Gate is an Asset of Community Value."

Let me just Google that for you  .... http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Ashton+Gate+is+an+Asset+of+Community+Value

Aww, poor bastard. He can't even have the 'consolation' that their ground has got a title that Ashton Gate supposedly hasn't.

I'm kind of old school in the sense of being City.

Bristol R*vers, to be fair to them, have provided me with something money can't buy.

    Long may real football exist!

My worry is that, at some stage, they will stop ******* everything up on a reasonably regular basis.

It seems to me that their current rate of approximately 2 or 3 disasters (either on or off the pitch) a month is probably unsustainable in the long run and is also now being taken for granted.

It's was only days between getting spanked at home by bottom of the League Newport before it was revealed their players come and support us in their spare time.....in the blink of an eye they're now getting beaten in the FA Cup by Chesham.

The 'Gift' may need to spread out their embarrassing failures over a slightly longer period of time otherwise I fear that Piggs, Dopey and the rest of the blue few will eventually run out of things to cock up.
