Just recieved an email saying i can now renew. Went through process to find that not only has the ticket price gone up by £40 as already advised but they have added a booking fee.
Unbelieveable
Should be 23 x £1.25. They've missed a trick.
I'm sure the booking fee was shown of all their promotional literature, as legally required.

We are bored aren’t we?
since Watford (a), the halcyon day (days???) of Manningball, we can see the decline in our attacking play.
If you look at Build-up (*) attacks, Direct (**) attacks as opposed to other open play attacks from shorter possession phases or set-pieces, we are more effective when we press! Yet we don’t attempt that, preferring a block more often than not. Maybe Krause should stop looking at our opponents and look at ourselves!
QPR is the only game where Manning’s approach resulted in more than 2 build-up attacks, 6 in total. And total open play xg was 0.43!!!
The decline in quality of open play chances is also evident.
Just three times in 14 games have we achieved a match xg of 1.00 from open play in a match. Some real lowlights in there too!
Then compare to what’s happening at the other end!
I don’t think any of us really need a set of numbers to confirm this, we are seeing it with our eyes. But there is no hiding from the fact we are regressing. Do we need more evidence?
sorry, was bored watching Man Utd v Liverpool, although not anymore!!!
+++++
* Build-up attacks - The number of open play sequences that contains 10 or more passes and either ends in a shot or has at least one touch in the box.
** Direct attacks - The number of open play sequences that starts just inside the team's own half and has at least 50% of movement towards the opposition's goal and ends in a shot or a touch in the opposition box.

Seriously that's good work - it proves what we think we know. It might be useful to get these stats in front of the Radio Bristol SOTC presenter and JP and Gary Owers.
Maybe an A3 sized print of the box heading the Running net xG column could be super-glued to BT's windscreen so he gets the picture as well (in case Ian Gay hasn't forwarded it on yet). I mean it sums everything up nicely. He doesn't even really have to look at the numbers to understand it.

To be fair tho their route to the semi final was Oxford, Sheffield Wednesday, Maidstone, Wolves.
If they don't make play offs having spent circa 25 million plus wages then that has to be considered a failure.
They lost their two best players, spent less on replacements (though a significant amount), and maintained the depth & quality of their squad. They're in the fa cup semi-final, so that's decent income, aside from the kudos and feel good factor for their fans. If they don't quite make the play-offs, at least they are there or thereabouts.
Let's face it they are another team that have gone through hardship, and come out the other end better than us. We'll be meh at best until something dramatic happens.

I think he’s absolutely under pressure. There are little tells of it everywhere, Tinnions tetchy interview, the little digs about the atmosphere, Liams excuses. People like to say the forum isn’t reflective of the fanbase - it absolutely is. Look anywhere.
I still don’t hold any surety he sees the season out.
They will absolutely be bricking it if season ticket sales are significantly down on a like for like basis v last season by the time the Leicester game rolls around. So yeah, that could be an interesting weekend.

No, of course we shouldn't. But I do believe it'll get better with time
How long will it be before the Sun expands and absorbs the Earth? Several billion years? However long it is I'm not convinced that leaves us enough time to mount a successful promotion charge ...

Feel a bit sorry for this Mebude bloke. Probs won’t get a look in for the rest of the season.
Probably we shouldn't have signed him.

Remember, we were underperforming under Nige.

Typical. I switched to the Welsh derby a while ago. Still don't understand how we lost to Cardiff.

Happy for Anis to have a stormer tracking back and winning tackles.
Well, he never get goalside of the attacker, and can't tackle. Apart from that ...
I'll settle for him having a stormer going forward and wba forgetting to attack down their right.

The season is done . It doesn’t really matter results wise . Although I am conflicted. I’d never want to lose a game . However , as we’re safe now and this a horrible question tbh. If we went on another poor run & it ended up with manning & tinnion sacked would you be happy ?
struggling to answer my own questionWe're then back to the recruitment process sitting wholly with the Lansdowns.
Not a very edifying position.
I'd rather LM had a storming end to the season. But that's a bit like expecting the Wright brothers to break the speed of sound.

Sports 10 claim to be showing it; https://sports-10.com/west-brom-bristol-city/
So farfawanews is not advertising any 3.00pm KOs. I'll try nearer the time as their feed is more reliable.
There should be streams listed at
So that's another option.
I'll be double bagging with Linux and a vpn nearer 3pm before dipping in.
May your streams be stable and highly defined.

I was party to a conversation with the largest medical insurance company in the US last week who I’m told are in advanced stages for building a large office site near Long Ashton. This company already has a large presence in Bristol and money is no object to get the development they require - I dont want to name the company but part of their development is to have their own rail line & station/platform by the site. This will have a rail link to Bristol Airport also.
obviously funding will not be an issue for this company but it will be interesting to see how planners receive this in the planning stages, how many dog walkers are against it and where AG and the whole expansion of the area is integrated with so much private investment
I wonder if this US company fancy buying a football club as well
The office development is planned for completion by 2028/29
This is probably the development that will sit adjacent to the South Bristol Link Road/Long Ashton Bypass. I think the plans are available on the North Somerset Council website. If I can find a posted notice with the planning refs available tomorrow I will add it.

No chance of a refund (even ignoring the breach of the terms if in the UK):
“What games can I watch?Non-televised Saturday 3pm KOs + Friday/Sunday games – Outside UK and Ireland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man only
Non-televised midweek games – Worldwide
Televised games – Available in selected territories (notified by the EFL in advance of the fixture)
Audio Commentary – Available worldwide
If there is not a pay-per-view match pass available in your territory for the game you want to watch, then it is not available.
Additionally, there is no season card holder access to streaming.”
Up to now there have always been *some* international territories available. I guess this is reduced now and they've just decided not to bother streaming to those of us that could arrange to be in Belgium tomorrow.

Perhaps I shouldn't be admitting this on a public forum, but I've watched those 70's, 80's ad compilations on youtube a few times.
Okay, okay more than a few times.

Just seen LJ in the Mall at Cribbs. Should I be bracing myself for his imminent return?
(Whether it’s LM or LJ, it Wouldn’t motivate me to renew my ST).
What food outlet was he bussing tables at?

Oh FFS.
I let my £1 builabet ride at ht - just needed Luton to hang on. Oops.

Correct Fevs. It was during an interview with GT towards the end of LJ’s record losing streak.
Where he also said LJ would still be head coach if we got relegated.

It's alot extra to find even pay on day prices are ridiculous.
The saving grace. If I don't renew (I'll probably do so but reluctantly on the last day of sales per @Silvio Dante), ain't no way I'm paying on the day.

Didn’t realise Dolman E34 was cheaper than South Stand for match day prices.
I think it's set up that way as they have to charge away fans comparative prices - the comparative stand is obviously the South Stand.
And isn't it the case that there are no POTD South Stand tickets available this season, making the POTD pricing mute?
Sometimes I actually think they know exactly what they're doing ...

Bit of an administrative nightmare but maybe bring in a loyalty system where the child's ticket attendance this season being over say 70% (please people don't get too hung up on this number, I made it up) gets you the lower price for the following season whereas the selfish git whose niece attended once pays quadruple for a child ticket?
Maybe they'd just scan the child's ticket and click the turnstile over if this happened?

In % terms that is (South Stand)
Adult- 10.39%
U19- 23.84%
Taken as a whole.
14.66%
Rounding may move the dial up or down 0.01%, but anyway.
I think adult ST'S make up a minority of total ST sales, so this would skew the percentage increase by customer toward the higher end of the scale.
