    It’s a horrible layout, I avoid it.

You always know that when we revamp something Jon likes to make it 'leading edge'.

But nothing winds me up more than that stupid come on when you buy tickets, and that's been there for at least 10 years. I don't imagine anyone has actually signed up for a paid discount scheme on purpose, but why on earth force it to get in the way like that.

Manning.exe isn’t compatible with the Tinnion30yearlegend Operating system, and performance is massively affected.

    Is that true?

Open a Dros shell, and run with some parameters set:

Dros 1.1 > Manning.exe -nopress -shots min -bordem max -keeperDist allovertheplace

ed: you can also use the keyword 'random' in place of 'allovertheplace'

    One off game.

The final would be at AG in the unlikely event that we win.

That looks like how our early bird system used to work, before our club decided to rinse us fans for whatever they can squeeze out of us.

Now we’ve got to hand over our money early and swallow a price rise, just to retain our seat.

The very best seats aren't available, but adult prices of the ones that are :-

you can sit on the halfway line on one side for £400, £439 on the other side

you can sit behind the goal for £344 (one end has no seats available)

    Will it be on robinstv?

To add to other replies, the QF was covered on the faplayer as well as RobinsTV, and there was an additional pitch side camera which wouldn't normally be part of the RobinsTV coverage. So maybe the FA led on the coverage?

There is no mention of live coverage yet on either the fa or Man City websites.

(Note, Man City streamed their QF on 'City+' and that costs £4.99 a month.)

    My point,

Is it original ?  No .

Whether licensed or not , and I didn't question the legality , it's not original and I (and many others) think it was a mistake.

It's clearly a mistake. I don't think JL would understand brand identity if someone metaphorically slapped him around the face with it.

I don't think anyone sees splat and thinks Bristol City.

But I suppose it does serve a purpose in highlighting where (or with whom) many of our problems lie.

We sold over 14k seasons tickets for this season.  I myself am not renewing and will pick a few games to pay on the day instead.  I’m not sure even if ticket sales plummeted that the board would be that concerned.  The increased Tv money will just about cover it and there confidence that we will be top six will give them the belief that they will fill the stadium with pay on the day and hence generate more match day revenue anyway.  Get a cup game like we did against Man Utd and everyone will be snapping up the half season tickets. Five points adrift at the bottom of the league in January and it’s a different story obviously. 🤣

    Ha, can you imagine it.

Jon: "We've only sold 10k season tickets for next season."

Dad: "Well done son, we'll make more on the POTD ticket sales. Lovely jubley."

Jon nicking artwork from the internet to "design " a new badge ?

Splat is provably an image derived from a copyrighted photo and would need to be duly licenced.

We must be professsional enough to ensure licencing is correctly in place, mustn't we?

And Shutterstock (or whoever the rights holder is) is probably continually scraping t'internet for unlicensed images, aren't they?

of course it’s transitory they’re passing through, but I can’t believe their experiences in life just like ours, don’t affect them.

Being forced to play in such a negative and passive way might hurt more.

I reckon Joe Williams was so peed off HT Swans game because he felt like he was being blamed for someone else's decisions on his gameplay.

Please tell me that is GPTChat or some other AI, because that's an 11 on the clueless scale.

I'm a fan of Piercy , his recent article was very good , Owers is always sensible and interesting . But I have to give credit to the presenter, that was the best show for some time, definitely since JT left.

I'd love them to do this sort of thing once a month or so.

I've always got the impression that the presenter is a city fan. I'm sure I remember him doing temporary stints several years ago. I quite like him, but obs GT is a near impossible act to follow.

That’s close to what happened at Leicester earlier this season. A tremendous reception whilst stood out on the pitch with his crutches.

In hindsight his demise was probably already decided by then and seeing that applause and singing for him must have sat very uncomfortably with Jon and Brian.

Yeah. I expect they were thinking "We'll show them ..."

    Tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock .....

Just recieved an email saying i can now renew. Went through process to find that not only has the ticket price gone up by £40 as already advised but they have added a booking fee.

    Unbelieveable

    Should be 23 x £1.25. They've missed a trick.

I'm sure the booking fee was shown of all their promotional literature, as legally required.

since Watford (a), the halcyon day (days???) of Manningball, we can see the decline in our attacking play.

If you look at Build-up (*) attacks, Direct (**) attacks as opposed to other open play attacks from shorter possession phases or set-pieces, we are more effective when we press!  Yet we don’t attempt that, preferring a block more often than not.  Maybe Krause should stop looking at our opponents and look at ourselves!

QPR is the only game where Manning’s approach resulted in more than 2 build-up attacks, 6 in total.  And total open play xg was 0.43!!! 😮😮😮

The decline in quality of open play chances is also evident.

    image.png.5069db1515489569db1dffbd36669dfa.png

Just three times in 14 games have we achieved a match xg of 1.00 from open play in a match.  Some real lowlights in there too!

Then compare to what’s happening at the other end!

    image.png.74c270403cbcc01ce24e2bd108e55bc9.png

I don’t think any of us really need a set of numbers to confirm this, we are seeing it with our eyes.  But there is no hiding from the fact we are regressing.  Do we need more evidence?

sorry, was bored watching Man Utd v Liverpool, although not anymore!!!

    +++++

    * Build-up attacks - The number of open play sequences that contains 10 or more passes and either ends in a shot or has at least one touch in the box.

** Direct attacks - The number of open play sequences that starts just inside the team's own half and has at least 50% of movement towards the opposition's goal and ends in a shot or a touch in the opposition box.

Seriously that's good work - it proves what we think we know. It might be useful to get these stats in front of the Radio Bristol SOTC presenter and JP and Gary Owers.

Maybe an A3 sized print of the box heading the Running net xG column could be super-glued to BT's windscreen so he gets the picture as well (in case Ian Gay hasn't forwarded it on yet). I mean it sums everything up nicely. He doesn't even really have to look at the numbers to understand it.

To be fair tho their route to the semi final was Oxford, Sheffield Wednesday, Maidstone, Wolves.

If they don't make play offs having spent circa 25 million plus wages then that has to be considered a failure.

They lost their two best players, spent less on replacements (though a significant amount), and maintained the depth & quality of their squad. They're in the fa cup semi-final, so that's decent income, aside from the kudos and feel good factor for their fans. If they don't quite make the play-offs, at least they are there or thereabouts.

Let's face it they are another team that have gone through hardship, and come out the other end better than us. We'll be meh at best until something dramatic happens.

I think he’s absolutely under pressure. There are little tells of it everywhere, Tinnions tetchy interview, the little digs about the atmosphere, Liams excuses. People like to say the forum isn’t reflective of the fanbase - it absolutely is. Look anywhere.

I still don’t hold any surety he sees the season out.

They will absolutely be bricking it if season ticket sales are significantly down on a like for like basis v last season by the time the Leicester game rolls around. So yeah, that could be an interesting weekend.
