He was a punt that didn't work out but it's not really a big deal.

Yep. At least we've had the decency to stop playing him, unlike some previous January loans.

The kid isnt as good as he thinks he is imo.

We don't play to his strengths, so it's become a bit difficult for me to appreciate how good he is recently.

Some of the issues might be partly of his own making, but it's upsetting that it's not working out for him here.

I've got to the stage where I almost want him to leave for his own benefit.

Unpopular opinion = Harry Kane is a far better player than Erling Haaland.

That's not unpopular here. I'd have either in the city side though. Brian, are you listening?

Individual games and small sample size sure but over time it can paint pictures, trends. Good and bad..can fail or overcorrect too.

Yeah. xG itself is just a minor part of the analysis of football. Just a headline for us plebs.

Data analysis of football is a multi billion dollar industry (probably :), and if you're leading edge, it can help you (for instance)  identify and recruit fantastic players for cheap that aren't on others radar.

When everyone else is using the same data sets it's more difficult to stand out, but it's one of the reasons Brighton have been so successful in their recruitment (I think they rely on Tony Bloom's company for their data, rather than off the shelf solutions).

I expect fevs has more of an insight.

If you know what you're doing it's a great tool, but if you're a great tool it won't help as much.

Bottom line - all football fans are fickle, it goes with territory. When your team is winning and doing well everyone are. happy bunnies and the manager is the best thing since sliced bread.

When your team is struggling every supporter is fed up and downbeat, full of negativity and the manager is clueless and should be sacked.

Every  club has fickle fans and no one club is any worse than the next.

I think if you factor in expectation and entitlement, the more successful teams have less tolerant fans.

I do hanker for the day when we suffer a home draw against Liverpool and our fans complain about it on 606, or it's equivalent in the year 4060.

He could have started his run anywhere and been beheaded in the box by faes and still not been a penalty with that ref

Ref would've booked TC for losing his head.

In a 1-0 win does MOTM ever go to anyone other than the goalscorer? I'd have said most of the defence put in better all round performances.

It does, and it should when there are more deseving cases like today.

But I suppose there is a case to say that it shouldve gone to a Leicester player, but noone usually picks a mom on the losing side.

As long as we win, probably I'm not getting bent out of shape on the mom choice.

I'm watching this on stream. The second goal has the most comical defending I've seen in a while. Guaranteed fbomb from Taylor in his post match radio bristol I reckon.

Oh, and their goalie looks a bit shite as well 😀

No wonder he fled the country.

I do remember seeing the van at Ashton Park School one day, but I didn't see our Kev.

He did sign something for my mate in the school hols when we saw him in the car park one day. Seemed a nice chap.

    It’s a horrible layout, I avoid it.

You always know that when we revamp something Jon likes to make it 'leading edge'.

But nothing winds me up more than that stupid come on when you buy tickets, and that's been there for at least 10 years. I don't imagine anyone has actually signed up for a paid discount scheme on purpose, but why on earth force it to get in the way like that.

Manning.exe isn’t compatible with the Tinnion30yearlegend Operating system, and performance is massively affected.

    Is that true?

Open a Dros shell, and run with some parameters set:

Dros 1.1 > Manning.exe -nopress -shots min -bordem max -keeperDist allovertheplace

ed: you can also use the keyword 'random' in place of 'allovertheplace'

    One off game.

The final would be at AG in the unlikely event that we win.

I'm not saying the Man City lads are good, but their recent form is WWWWWWWWWW (all comps). The most recent game is on the left hand side, no right hand side, no  ...

That looks like how our early bird system used to work, before our club decided to rinse us fans for whatever they can squeeze out of us.

Now we’ve got to hand over our money early and swallow a price rise, just to retain our seat.

The very best seats aren't available, but adult prices of the ones that are :-

you can sit on the halfway line on one side for £400, £439 on the other side

you can sit behind the goal for £344 (one end has no seats available)
