I've requested physical seasontickets but not yet recieved them. There was no info on that page about those of us waiting for physical season tickets.

Think I read they may not be available before the start of the season and you’ll have to download a bar coded ticket?

I'm sure that I didn't dream this but thought there was going to be some official club announcement about the programme this upcoming season

The impression I got was that they were going to bring back the printed version

I always found it odd that the club went through the hassle of designing it to go online without getting it printed.

Surely with the amount of sponsors inside and cost of buying it covered its own costs?

If I remember correctly, during questions at various Senior Reds lunches, both Steve Lansdown and Richard Gould were in favour of a printed version, but because of cost it was deemed unviable! Think the same question was asked to Phil Alexander, although he had only been in the position a short time and only listened, can’t remember what his view/opinion was!

Last season a printed version was available behind the bar in The Coopers, guess that will no longer be possible.

Just done all that, still not working :(

Wonder if you should try removing from your wallet and then reinstalling, ensuring both are on and connected?

Also, are the software updates all up to date on your watch and for that matter your iPhone?

Cracking morning. Tour of the ground and an interesting and humorous interview with Walsh. Next week's session is at the memorial tip. Might go along if I can find my hard hat and protective boots for the building site.

Thoroughly enjoyable few hours, well organised. Very interesting to see the changing and treatment  rooms, and the warm up area. Whole tour was very well carried out by Jerry Tocknell who was both funny and explanatory. Fascinating talk by Alan Walsh to  round things off. How things have changed since he became a pro. footballer.

Good morning all round. Interesting to see parts of the ground you wouldn't normally see (Trauma Room - what must go in there), and how the various elements of the club are focussed to create a top side. Walshy was in good form too, and I suspect we would have sat there all day if we could to hear all his stories. Not surprised there so many turned up for the event though - we might not get many more for the opening League game.

Thanks to all the organisers and hopefully there will be more.

As with all the above, enjoyable morning, Alan is a great guy, and kudos to Mark Kelly supporting it. Think Jerry enjoyed the time away from his other duties, which appear to be full time digital ticketing and new branding complaints! ?

He seems in good form to me, his wife is lovely too and my wife gets on well with her and her friend. I think she is hoping to get a chance to meet Kelsey Grammer when he and their daughter come over in August. :)

Don’t forget Kelsey Grammer is his son-in-law, as whilst chatting I called him his father in law, which Alan, with a smile, corrected me!?

Probably the single most irrelevant and irritating part of the AG experience for me.

I understand the checking of bags, but having to show a steward your ticket before getting to the turnstile is completely pointless.

I simply walk past and have never been challenged.

Do they check every person’s card or ticket especially near to kick off when there is a big rush to get in?

    What is the point?

And why is it such an issue that you’re unable to show your card/ticket?

I have a little soft spot for Bury mostly because of my father who grew up in the Rhondda Valley.

His younger brother married a girl from Bury and they lived at 5, Gigg Lane, about 15 yards from the turnstiles to the Bury FC ground. My Dad lived with them in the 1930's when he was going anywhere in the country looking for work because the mining industry was at rock bottom at the time.

And the last match that my father watched at Ashton Gate a couple of years before he died, was in the Fourth Division against Bury.

So, I for one, will be chuffed if Bury FC can regain their Football League status soon.

Proper old school ground and typical of many being centre of the community.

Checked this morning. It says mirror my phone in the settings, but no season cards. Maybe it’s cos I’ve got three season cards on my phone, so it can’t cope with more than one.

I’ve got 17 various cards in my wallet, so unsure of this particular issue. If I can see what it is I’ll let you know!

I may have missed it in this thread, but I’ve only got the first game (Preston) downloaded to my wallet; is that the same for all? Is the expectation we have to download a ticket for each game? I’m don’t recall reading that in the email etc. thanks!

Will update a couple of days before each game, just ensure you have automatic updates enabled.

I only know because one of our local bowls club scored only 3 and were not allowed to prepare food on the premises….On the surprise revisit they scored a 5 I’m happy to say.

If they weren’t allowed to prepare food, what was the point in a surprise visit??

I just tried and it doesn’t seem to load like, for example my Tesco club card does.

My Apple wallet is the same on both my iPhone and Apple Watch,  with season ticket showing on both - perhaps review your settings?

How do I check that on my iPhone? I can’t see it in the wallet settings?

    Edit - already answered!

Open the ticket, click on the 3 dots in the top right hand corner and see if the update is on or not!

My mate is terrified of digital tickets, but he's had a smartphone for the last 15 years.

Always remember a John F Kennedy quote: “Change is the law of life and those who look only to the past or the present are certain to miss the future."

Used to use this as at the end of presentations, when encouraging clients to change products!

I guess most like to remain in their comfort zone, me, I happy to embrace progress - although struggling with all the different BCFC branding that’s suddenly appeared!?

    Online survey??

Several older attendees at senior Reds don't do mobile phones and certainly not smart phones and have no access to the internet.

Hopefully get some help from family/friends.

On the table I sit, it’s almost impossible to get everyone off their phones!?

Thanks for the positive support - I should my son and he was annoyed! ? Apparently, I posted before it was done. This is the finished version (I think I'll frame it!) - he was then was annoyed because I didn't spot the 'easter egg'. ??‍♂️ No pleasing young'uns sometimes. Be interested to see if anyone on here spots it.

Now, if he was annoyed with you, he should have added rugby posts!?
