Come on, be fair, 780 travelling fans is pretty impressive for a team which was only recently playing non-league football?

If you have an iPhone, there should be a circled ‘i’ when you open the ticket. Click on that and make sure automatic updates is turned on.

Interestingly, after previously ensuring automatic updates were on, they miraculously became switched off?

Whilst all is correct with the pass, now unsure if this will happen after every use?

They’re very well run, interestingly like Brentford & Leicester their owner has a club in Europe too, where they can loan players for development & potentially get around work permit issues.

Can’t keep up, but has SL ever used them as an example of who we should be like?

I’m sure a few years ago there was some dialogue between the clubs with regard to development and building a new stadium, believed SL liked the Brighton model?

Also find it really frustrating when he kind of mumbles the opposition substitutions because they are the other team. I would rather know who was going off and coming on regardless of team. Of course you don't have to state it in an upbeat voice, but speak clearly so we actually know who we are playing against.

Agreed, I say this every game!

  5. There appeared to be a prolonged announcement during the second half and didn’t have a clue what he was saying (Dolman Stand).

Any ideas what it was about, car with lights on, traffic lights stuck on red in Ashton Road, birth expected get to BMH…….. or was it subs being announced 10 minutes after it had happened?

Firstly, for those who haven't seen the other couple of threads of the last few months, no he's nothing to do with "Tony".

But give the kid his due, just turned 17 and had the confidence to stick his hand up and say "I can be an option". Clearly although quick, he runs like a newly born foal, but he worked really hard and showed some real intelligence.

Like everyone else, I enjoyed the tackling back to stop a potential Oxford break, but my favourite thing was him pointing out to Matty James, where he wanted the ball to run onto. Certainly not overawed that's for sure.

Agreed, very alert to stop the quick break, just the game for him.

I was surprised they watered the pitch at HT with all the rain we have had and was forecast during the match. Don't we usually water the pitch to make it slicker? So either you are right and they wanted to make the ball run faster or it was too much and it slowed the players down, but they didn't appear to be slipping everywhere.

I think due to the nature of the pitch it needs to be watered before play. I’m sure I’ve seen the sprinklers on before when there’s been rain?

Downsy was doing the announcements from the booth so guess he didn't have the advance notice he had previously when he was standing in the tunnel area.

Has Downsy been given a pitch side ban then?

Stewards were just letting people walk through in the South Stand. No problem with the physical card, don't know why everyone didn't ask for one

I for one more than happy going digital, forgot card once and had to pay a fee, which still grips with me!?

Of course, but the rules are quite clear (whether a good rule or not)  personally i think whoever touches the ball last should be awarded the "goal" irrespective of whether that's an attacker or defender

How often does a keeper get his fingers to a shot that goes in, hell of a lot of “defender own goals” there? ??

10k have gone digital, 4k wanted physical cards. That's still a cost saving for the club.

I wonder if next season when there “may” be a charge for a card, how many will suddenly be able to use their phones??

I don't know why but I didn't think the new style etickets were being used for the first four home games - did I dream that?

Pretty certain I read that from the club somewhere!

Perhaps it’s a delaying tactic to “encourage” some who requested cards to instead go digital, to save having to bother with 4 e-tickets?

He’s not really engaged with this forum for a couple of years now which is very strange. Surely this forum is his biggest platform and quickest way to liaise with fans?

When I’ve contacted Jerry directly I’ve always had a prompt response, perhaps that’s the way forward with serious questions?

The club should have issued a visual guide to how it will all work alongside a video showing not only showing how to install it onto a phone but also how it will work at the turnstile

Far too late now, and to me a very basic error by the club that will no doubt have caused lost of worry for many for no reason

This is exactly what should have happened, a bit of encouragement to show how easy it is and would’ve stopped all the negativity and bloody hysteria!

Let’s face, if the majority of scousers can do it…………!
