Good shout. Simple lyrics which helps. Been sung for best part of 40 years too. ‘We Always Believe’ was also sung well in the GJ/Basso era because it was easy for people to join in (and we were doing well of course).

Swansea City away match thread

Made me chuckle - quote from Nige. "There were a lot of decisions which didn't go our way. It's the bane of my life, the inconsistencies for everybody is so frustrating. "What we talked about is, if we could keep our composure, we knew that we'd continue to create opportunities. Let's use the frustration of it to perform. I think that's the big thing. "There's no good me being in there ranting and raving because there's nothing to rant about, apart from maybe the guy out in the middle. I bit my lip. It hurts a bit now.” -

Can’t we save all the posts about wage budgets, Lansdown, lack of spending of the Scott money for the multitude of other threads on those topics? This thread should surely be about today’s excellent performance from the players who are actually here. I was only able to listen to the commentary today, but even from that it sounded like one of our most dominant performances at this level for years. Interested to know if those watching today agree.- 844 replies

Deserve a goal. Keep it up lads - it’ll come. -
This was how it worked for me in the old app too. However I have found with the new app it doesn’t keep my screen on during the commentary and then stops when the phone locks - so I’ve had to change phone settings to stop the phone locking to keep the commentary running. Working ok now (I’m on audio)

A good thought provoking tweet/question I thought - here: https://twitter.com/TheExiledRobin/status/1697896467149500808 And Tinnion can interact with it in any way he likes in my view - I don’t see the issue. Presumably the whole point of these guys being on social media is to interact with fans.
-
@Sarumred they’ve sorted the issue with the new app - the listen/watch live buttons have now appeared in the robins tv section.

Well said. And I hope everyone gets behind NP and the team in the ground and leaves the negativity for here. They need our support. They are all working their socks off to do well - they are having to cope with injuries as well - so let’s get behind them and see what we can achieve this season.

Massengo - Signed for Burnley
eardun replied to Major Isewater's topic in All Things Ex Players and Managers
Yes it would be interesting if later on in the season we see a match with Massengo and Brownhill v. Scott, Semenyo and Kelly. -
Depends if they are actually talking to a potential buyer now though. You’d what matters kept quiet, including if you were the buyer.
-
And if SL wants to sell the club, it must make sense to be in even better financial health - it must make us more attractive to a buyer. So perhaps the strategy that some are moaning about (tight purse strings) is in the fact the very strategy that will give them what they want, i.e. new owners.

Worth watching the whole press conference. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuoNeKysxPw I didn’t see it as Pearson having a dig at Lansdown. He’s just telling it how it is - the budget is the budget and he works within what he is given. I love his approach - no moaning from him; he just gets on with the job

Actually @Sarumred I’ve just looked at the new app again and although the previous live commentary options are no longer there on the robins tv tab, I did find this: If you click on the match at the top of the app home page and then select timeline, you see this (see the pic).So may be worth trying on Saturday to see if the commentary appears there.

Makes sense. Lansdown has said he’d like to sell the club or at least have more outside investment. So doesn’t it make sense that by not splashing the cash at the moment, he makes City more attractive to investors? So I don’t see the logic of those who say he should spend millions now AND sell the club.
-
Quite. Hopefully he’s got better things to do than read this thread on his 71st birthday.
