  1. Those who had the wrong commentary - was that via Virgin? It was fine for me on Sky tv and on the sky sports app.
  2. Nice thread just started on Norwich forum - sums it up well: Credit to Bristol City By Pugin, 2 minutes ago in Main Discussion - Norwich City Pugin 492 Totally fearless. Lovely to see a side come and set up to attack and take risks. As for the number 7, Alex Scott, so much came through him. Only 19 years old, I can think of 3 or 4 of our squad players that they could have in bulk for him alone. No chance, I suspect.
  3. I enjoyed that. Well played lads. Love this team’s attitude: 2 nil down away to one of the favourites in the division? F it, we’re going to try to score 3. Gave it a good go.
  4. Been ok for me apart from a few buffering issues early on. Commentary has been the right one throughout
  5. Just imagine if we get a 3-2 win. Semenyo to tear them apart in the second half!
  6. Some buffering issues which they have acknowledged
  7. Yes I was only thinking last night that it’s not going well for Wilder. Heart still at Sheff Utd perhaps.
  8. If we win tonight, I’ll become as confident for this season as Nahki was in his pre-match interview. Let’s do it.
  9. To be fair, Sykes is twice the player I was expecting so playing for two clubs will be no problem for him.
  10. Yes at age 5 keeping attention is the thing. My daughter went to her first match aged 5 in 2005. I recall she was v interested in trying chewing gum for the first time! Mind you it was a nil nil v Doncaster and there was no family entertainment in those days. On the bright side, she has been to her second, third and fourth matches in 2022 (aged 22) and they have all been wins. So she hasn’t seen a defeat yet and I’m regretting that my lucky charm did not go more often between 2005 and 2022! Plus she now supplies me with the chewing gum at matches! Hope you have a great time @SydneyCity

Must admit I’d forgotten we won so many in a row that season. I had also forgotten that Denis Smith was managing Wrexham then. Basically I’ve tried to forget everything about that season after that horrendous Play-off final! Still the lowest I’ve felt after a City defeat.
  12. In case not aware, there is no booking fee on Trainline if you buy on the day of travel.
  13. Congratulations Tommy. I didn’t realise Conway had Scottish connections - or perhaps Naismith’s leadership and influence is even more impressive than I thought!
  14. Depends what else is on offer elsewhere.
  15. I was thinking same - the matches may help him increase his sharpness for us.
  16. Agree. Form fluctuates. It’s just as Pearson says - get in team and play well and you’ll stay there. Martin’s form dipped compared to last season and that’s why he was dropped (I watched him v Sunderland and he just didn’t look his usual self). Wells has come in with his best performances of his time here (so far - hopefully!). So whilst I never liked seeing Wells played on the wing, I don’t think you can put it all down to our misuse of Wells’ talents. There have been matches in past seasons when his touch or passing has been poor even when playing as a striker. He is on fire at the moment - I have never seen him as sharp.
