You think he will make money in the Prem? 4 or 5 decent players plus scary wages and agents fees will make a big dent in 140 mil. Do you think many Prem clubs make a profit?
SL said when we got to the Championship that he was surprised at players fees and wage demands. If he thought that was scary, well, watch out!!
More chance of making profit with being a premier league club. Pretty bloody obvious really. Look at Norwich, Burnley, Huddersfield.

I don't think SL wants or can afford Premiership football at A G. Nige has spotted that and is now in a no win situation.
SL can’t afford receiving £140m. He’d prefer the club to lose £15-25m per year.

Wouldn't need to. Drowning man has intrinsic motivation. And life raft.
Two minutes listening to Pearson and he’d just give up

Couldn’t motivate a drowning man with a life raft

At least Pearson will talk slowly and thoughtfully after the game. Looking forward to it

Any side with 10 men are dangerous against us!

The situation the two faced was/is totally different! LJ's every wish granted, NP inherited a shitshow.
Yes they are different and you haven’t understood what I said. I am saying that if Pearson oversaw what Johnson achieved then he wouldn’t be hated as much as Johnson is. And if Johnson oversaw what Pearson is then it would be choruses of Johnson Out.
-
If you switched Lee Johnson and Nigel Pearson's jobs they have done/did at City, there would be chants of Johnson Out now. And Pearson wouldn't be hated as much as Johnson is.
One nil up but it’s been dire again

These are my picks. Good luck if you are betting.

I think we'll see Joe Bryan and Marlon Pack return this summer and I think Semenyo, and Massengo will leave.
I think Wells will get his chance with Semenyo gone and Pack is a direct replacement for Massengo
Joe Bryan adds defence and midfield abilities and will allow Wiemann to play a more central role.
Absolutely zero chance of Bryan coming back I’m afraid. We cannot afford him.

Sky bet paying 11 places each way. Gone for one who I think will win it and then a few fun longer odds EW
Justin Thomas 11/1
Russell Henley 45/1
Joaquin Niemann 40/1
Si Woo Kim 66/1
Eri Van Rooyen 125/1- 2

Chris Sutton is great. Very different to most pundits. Very dry sense of humour. Nice not to listen to a cliched robot

Swap Weimann for Roofe and Rangers get something from that game.
These two "flat track bullies" could be the type of clubs that are interested in Weimann, able to afford him and being of interest to him.
I’m not sure Weimann up front on his own has ever worked has it? He’s scored a ton this season but not from that position

Genuine, non-loaded question. What’s the rationale to your affinity with Celtic?
Same question to anyone who has Rangers as a second team
I know quite a few people support their main club and one of the Glasgow teams but I’ve never understood why
I don’t care about Celtic. I only support one team. I don’t like Rangers though

Rangers fan has thrown a glass bottle at Joe Hart. Shards of glass now in the box.
-
Get in.
-
They need an over soon where they score 20 odd
-
And that’s the game. Sciver will need to score 200 not out here which won’t happen. No shame in losing to this Aussie team in a final though
-
I’d love to the know how many goals we have scored this season when Pearson has put 4 strikers on the pitch. Can’t remember any but must be some as he always does it

What matters over 46 games is how many points you have, how did those teams do at Blackburn & QPR?
We’ll finish well clear of both & that’s what is really important.
Not if they didn’t have points deducted. Derby would be above us and Reading would be a few points behind us. When you are building I would hope to see more progress than this
