Out of 3,507 tests.
A third of the positives at 3 clubs, most clubs averaging 1 or 2.
Premier league had 40 in 2257 which was 2 sets of results.
EFL rate of 112 in 3507 is roughly double the PL rate.
They have just updated there rules on Covid to bring levels down.

At the moment there are no plans to vaccinate everybody in the country (well not for quite a while) the idea is to vaccinate the people most a risk first, that should be done in the next 8 weeks, there are more vaccines coming on stream very soon so I think your estimate of Christmas is very pessimistic to say the least though I don't think we will be going back to the gate this season I will be surprised if fans are not there by the start of next season.
The plan is to eventually vaccinate the whole country. At the moment can’t vaccinate children for vaccine not got enough data to be used on children that is still being collected.

Fairly obviously there wont be any fans in the ground any time soon, we're in lockdown. At least March I expect until we see most non-essential things open up again
As a regional hub and one end of the ground out of use (shutters down no exits) and it is going to take around a year to vaccinate everybody in the country (2 million a week 55 million people x2) then there will be no full capacity till the hub is moved. You are looking till Christmas till we get fans in fully at a guess with the hub there.
The club must be getting some good money as a hub to stop 6k (guessing capacity south stand) coming in to games till then.

Would simply be a case of no cars in the south stand car park, only pedestrian access from that end then a fence up blocking any access to south stand area outside the ground and dividers up inside the concourse to block access. Inside the ground could still be used as the shutters for access to the concourse would be down, would just mean people having to leave through Lansdown stand.
If you have people in the concourse dong vaccinations, that stand couldn’t be used for as you say shutters would be down and the South Stand would have no access points out of the ground. That I am guessing would be against health and safety if we used it, plus you would have no toilets for people in that stand all would have to go to Dolman or Lansdown.
I am sure ground could be used but deffo couldn’t be full capacity so I am guessing club knows that so are letting it be a vaccination centre.
You could still have 2k or 4K in but only be in a Dolman and Atyeo for Lansdown may still be off limits due to being red zone.

Guessing we aren’t expecting fans back soon if Ashton Gate is now a regional vaccine hub. If we are then not full capacity for quite a while.

if the number was worked out using the governments reporting methods that is 1758 per 100,000
England is an average of 525 per 100,000 at the moment.
But according to the PL there procedures are working (even though players seem to ignore them).
How many of that 40 are infecting family and friends without knowing it.

Why? 8 of those 9 were nailed on. The lucky one for me is Rob Cross. Chizzy deserves a spot.
De Sousa isn’t in the world top 10 had 1 good tournament Van de bergh I believe is out the top 10 as well now had a good few months. Will he be fit for due his knee op.
Durant isn’t top 10 but is defending champ.
Cross is world number 4 so is in on his ranking.
Chisnell
Smith
Wade
Would be fairer picks all top 10 in world

I’m still amazed at the inconsistency.
We’ve seen some games in the EFL cancelled due to positive tests, others have gone ahead.
Man C had 2 positives on Xmas day and were allowed to carry on and play Newcastle the next day. Now it transpires, 2 days later, that they have more positives. Surely that should mean that all the Newcastle players should isolate for 10 days, but no, they’ll be carrying on as normal.
Just seems really inconsistent in how it’s applied to each team but also how it’s applied vs the rest of the population.
I’m just not ‘getting’ it, to be honest.
3 positives PL call off games, because they get tested twice a week they think they can catch any outbreaks before they get to bad.
I still reckon Allison of Liverpool had it but Liverpool said he was injured for they had 2 positives already. He was allegedly injured for 6 weeks but was back in under 3.
Just don’t get why EFL do testing leagues 1 and 2 and NL fixtures are all over the place.

Rochdale called next 2 games off due to positives and self isolation.
Efl have told clubs to limit indoor contact and follow protocols, but no panned testing will be taken.
Basically get on with it don’t admit you have symptoms and get the season finished.
Man City are going to struggle to fit in any fixtures if they have FA Cup and CL runs. They’ve no free weeks till March and if next 2 games are off as well they are going to somehow squeeze in 4 fixtures.

You are suppose to stay in your area if you are a Tier 3 unless it’s esssential.
Otherwise everyone would be going to Cornwall which is Tier 1 but aren’t doing so for they know they aren’t suppose to.
It’s not Law I believe but guidance only, it is to stop the spread of the virus from one area to another.
Here in Manchester we aren’t allowed to let in fans at my local team who are tier 2 FA rules. Each person has to buy ticket advance so address can be checked.

This is the weak excuse that the club claimed, at the end of the day Bath City manage crowds, and I am 100% sure not all their supporters come from Bath. It could have been managed but the opportunity to give the women a lift at two massive fixtures has been lazily missed sadly
I'd have thought the publicity alone of Bristol City going toe to toe with the likes of those teams in that league would be enough?
The club could then tap into a bigger financial pool for sponsorship?
I agree, but if you read the government guidelines that’s the rules.
Same will happen when Ashton gate can let in crowds, Postcodes will be checked to see if you are in a Tier that allows travel.

It's sad to watch.
They clearly don't lack effort and commitment but they are starting to look well out of their depth.
Lose to West Ham Sunday and relegation is looming faster and faster.
All efforts should have been made to get home supporters in tonight and Sunday to boost the team.
It must be so demoralising to get beaten practically every week.
Somewhere along the way It's all been mis managed behind the scenes.
It wasn't that long ago they were in the final rounds of the Champions league, we've gone backwards as so many other clubs have invested time, money and effort and left us a long way behind in every department
Was chatting to someone about no supporters tonight at the game. They believe because Bristol is Tier 3 they don’t want people travelling to a tier 2 area.

series Points for a win Points for a tie Points for a draw Points for a defeat 2 60 30 20 0 3 40 20 13 0 4 30 15 10 0 5 24 12 8 0
This is how the points are worked out. Seems best to play in shorter seriesBut all series add up to 120 pts

Odd that they are home to Villa Wednesday night and West Ham on Sunday and there is no ticket information announced yet?
Might be because Bristol is Tier 3. Think same rules apply to WSL as EFL

Makes sense
League won’t restart due to no food or drink in Stadia. That’s where clubs make there money and clubs won’t play with gate receipts only.

4 rules the FA said clubs lower down had to follow, so why have Elite clubs been allowed to follow there own rules and now get told follow new tighter rules for current ones aren’t working.
