After years of debate they’ve finally scrapped the £1 booking fee
Yup - it's now £5!

What did you think, Reg?
I went for my 60th last month & was massively underwhelmed, incredibly expensive (the bill was around £200) the vegetarian selection really mediocre & at 7.30 they didn’t have enough beer for me, my daughter & stepson to have a pint each.
Won’t be rushing back, though it is clearly doing very well.
We enjoyed it - the sharing plates we had were excellent, with special mentions for the Cuttlefish and the Bavette. Wine was expensive though I thought. It's quite small but didn't feel too overpowering so there was a nice atmosphere. Jon Lansdown was also there at the same time & seemed to be enjoying himself with his fellow guests.
A good addition to North Street.

A welcome windfall for residents of BS3 from selling parking for stupid money to gullible “Takeys” (or are they “Thatters”

On the subject of the shop, I think I crossed paths with either the store manager or supervisor today. A lady from “Southern Ireland” as she put it. Now, this may be me being picky but I can’t help but feel the store might be a bit better if there was an actual Bristol-born city fan at the helm. Though again, I acknowledge that many of the decisions around kit are made at the exec/commercial level.
The lady you refer to was nothing but incredibly helpful last few times I have been in there. It's a shop - it could be staffed by Martians (don't tell Suella Braverman) as far as I am concerned; as long as they're helpful that will do for me.

You have to be 50 years old and above. We meet ,usually Thursday, 3rd week of each month. Sometimes it changes.
I will find an email for to send and ask to join.
I thought it was 55? If it’s 50 I’ll prepare my email!

Some HILARIOUS jokes about Jon Lansdown getting his crayons out incoming...
Once Daddy sells up he'll have no use for his crayons, thankfully.

Absolutely. Organised crime in general but particularly the drug gangs are the main reason for all the stabbings/shooting/killings we sadly hear about all too often. County lines gangs using kids hardly out of primary school to peddle this shit FFS. Anyone who takes part in this shit has blood on their hands.

So I can go into store and buy a shirt, just like I could on Saturday, but I can't go into store and collect the shirt that I ordered online. Fantastic!
Bought in store Friday. Easily the best of the 3 kits for this season. No issues at all with the quality either.

Hopefully the council has published the worst case scenario and the actual time will be less than 2 years. Maybe learning from the Gaol Ferry which went from 6 weeks work to a year.
You know full well that they'll find it in a worse state than initially expected and it'll take longer than first thought. See also: everything in Bristol

Just get them to leave the site. After all they have enough skips to take it all away
I'm sure they'd be happy with that

I fully get what you're saying but it doesn't sit easy with me just handing over a million, hopefully the council will ignore them on 28th Sept' and see if they will take the risk with the high costs that come with it in taking it to court
Maybe Steve could dip into his "nest egg" and buy ETM off. I know it's not his problem per se. It's a bitter pill to swallow but let's get this back on track ASAP.

Sean McCarthy. John Ward picked him ahead of Jason Roberts after the latter had scored in a win at Oldham. The rest is history.
That's him!

Sean definitely went to Gordano; I played in the same Sunday team as him about 15 years ago. I think JL went to QEH or BGS.
Jon went to QEH.

At least we don't have to worry about Tommy Tynan !!!
Wasn't there another striker from Plymouth that we were always linked with every close-season? Pretty sure by the time we eventually signed him he was over the hill & rubbish.

Should be a good atmosphere anyway. Nonsense anyone that calls it a derby game.
Both West Country teams, albeit the distance from Bristol to Plymouth is practically the same as Bristol to Millwall!
