Seem to recall years ago Edson telling me he lived above it when at uni. Must of smelt a bit
Yeah that Flipper was ace. They also had one by the Bearpit IIRC.

I haven't actually ever been, always booked up!
Never been to the original in CV but we did go to the North Street pop-up a couple of times before it closed. As you'd expect it was very good, albeit probably a slightly more urban ambience than the original!

This is one thing that City have got spot on - the free shirt with the U12s season ticket.

My RobinsTV stream is the Millwall one.

every time I've got a contract in the centre! Top drawer...
Had Chilli Daddy in St Nick's yesterday. Best value lunch at £5, very decent portion for that money. Most other stalls in St Nick's now seem to be £7 min.

Millwall will pay tribute to John Berylson. The Lions' former Chairman tragically passed away on 4th July, aged 70, with the club set to honour the American on Saturday.
The players will wear tribute warm-up t-shirts and match shirts have also been embroidered for the occasion. They will be available for auction after the game, with all proceeds going to the John Berylson Legacy Fund.
THIS. My mate who's a Millwall fan has told me that "every nutter will be out tomorrow" so City fans will need to have their wits about them in & around, well, everywhere.

Great transfer for City and for Alex. Can’t argue with it, particularly if the Conway injury forced our hand a bit.
Hopefully we’ll now strengthen in the right areas and continue to progress up the league.
After all, it’s all about progression, not regression.
I’d argue we strengthen both the left and right areas if at all possible. And the middle.

Would Bob have been the butcher who had a postage-stamp sized advert in every home programe of the 80s?
Quite possibly, he'd had that place for quite some time

The butchers used to do burgers and hotdogs too.
Yeah that had that great big skillet outside didn't they - not seen them do that for quite a while. Rare (ex Bob Wherlock's)

Chips from the sports bar are £6.50 for the cheapest , just plain ones, £9.50 for most expensive “loaded” ones.
There’s a chippy opposite the Robins plus Fishminster and Willow Garden on North St that’d surely be better options if possible?

I’m just taking it as a friendly ‘zip it’ as he shouldn’t be making announcements before the club announce it.
Maybe they both dropped barbecues on each other

The only thing in the stadium which is good, not just OK, in my opinion is Feed The Goat.
Agreed. Not cheap but certainly good VFM.

Bought mine today .. still loads left.. anyone have a guess for attendance? 10k?
We had just under 8k v. Lincoln in the 3rd round at home last season so I doubt we'll get more than that for a 1st round game this time round.

New shirt is by far and away the worst since the rebrand to Bears. Jon has had a mare yet again FFS

I had an issue with Oxford tickets yesterday, after buying 4 online. They sent me the email immediately but with no tickets attached! Tried to call first thing today but phone lines all down.

Usually a fairly reasonable price in there, unless they put the prices up for a Saturday when City are at home!?
