Thanks Reg! Are you all going today or are you still running round Lanzarote?
Sadly we are home now so we’ll all be there (assuming the tickets work, obvs!)

Had to call the club in the week to chase my son’s physical season ticket. I was about 40th, or something stupid, in the queue but the query was dealt with swiftly and a matchday ticket emailed to me immediately, as the club woefully underestimated how many people would want physical cards.
Those guys must’ve been absolutely run off their feet these last few weeks so just wanted to put my thanks to them all on the record, it can’t be easy taking the flak for City’s many shortcomings so fair play to them all.

I love how he's got Alex Scott mugs at his house. Probably gives a bit of an insight into the very special relationship they have.
I imagine it was done with irony
Probably more porcelain-y or ceramic-y

Isn’t there going to be a new shop when the sports quarter is developed?
Yes. But they've not even started demolishing Wickes etc yet so that will be a good while yet.

Last year's away kit under Hummel was indeed a thing of beauty. Sigh.
The Orange & Grey 3rd kit was an absolute work of art. One of the best f'rages.

Sort of has been superseded by Piercy but Crook was reaffirming this morning that a gap in valuation remains.

Just to put into perspective the money that we're talking about (well, obviously not me and @soultrader) a £25m stack of newly minted £20 notes would be 141.25mtrs or 463.419ft high. That's a serious amount of money. Pub anyone?
How does that convert into London Double Deckers/Swimming Pools?

Who bids £30m for a player who's price is £25m?

Any suggestions for an Italian central (ish) to meet some friends in August. It has to be kid friendly (3 and 2 year old). Was thinking la grotto, many Friday lunch time spent there , but understand now closed. Last time in Bristol we were taken to Prezzo and it was shit . Any independent recommendations would be welcome
Sadly, La Grotta has closed! It was a great little place too.

The frightening thing is that in 1983 our club shop had a better range of products than it does 40 years later
So true. I had quite a few items on that list, too - I certainly had (and probably still have it somewhere) the City Record which I'm sure was by Shag Connor & the Carrot Crunchers.

Likewise. You just have to listen to our fans chanting B-RIS-TOL and the AWL at the end is clear.
Certainly nobody has ever pronounced it Bristle or Brizzle.
Yeah Brizzle boils my piss, not as much as "Bedmo" but that's another story altogether.

I'm not sure.
I would have suggested from Dirk Robson's book, but he actually spells it 'Bristle'.
