When does Robin's TV start, I've just got a countdown clock on "watch live"

I think Preston had one of the best away records last season but couldn't win at home so maybe that was one of our more difficult matches.at AG but disappointing nevertheless.
After watching the match on TV last night I was looking forward to seeing how we compared to Southampton but we looked more like Wednesday. Without Scott we might struggle to challenge for the top 6.

It would have been better if Naismith had been playing too as he's another who can make time for himself before passing. The team today treated the ball as a hot potato getting rid of it ASAP, Preston's press was quite effective on us

The pre match email from the Club suggests getting there early due to the introduction of digital ticketing, just hope the anticipated problems aren't too bad and everyone gets in ok

The squad is definitely the best we've had for a while but we don't know how that compares to our opponents, there aren't many poor sides at first glance, we'll have a better idea after 10 games or so. I've taught myself not to get too excited after so many false starts.

Live stream on RTV is working. I have a season pass from last season and haven't yet puechased a pass for this one yet.
Is it working for anyone else with/without a season pass?
Yes I think the annual subscription covers all Robins TV games

For Android I take it that the wallet is linked to your Google account so that if you change phones you will still have the ticket, or will you have to delete it off the old phone first then set up on the new phone via the original email again?

I laugh at all these comments about over 65's not being able to cope, I'm in my seventies and all my friends have smartphones, I know some younger people who struggle with tech.

Len Bond played in this game at Craven Cottage in 73/74 season, Cashley had a late injury and poor Len had been ill with tonsillitis but was dragged off his sick bed to play as there were no other options. He unfortunately made an error which was responsible for the first goal

Back in the late 70s I was fortunate to meet and talk with Brian Glover when just occasionally he would have a drink in the Queens Elm at 241 Fulham Road. Sadly, like Brian, the pub is no more.
I remember that pub from my student days, did a brilliant shepherd's pie and baked beans, that was the early 70s

I remember watching City beat Juventus 2-1 at AG although I think it was a friendly

I remember watching Johnny Watkins play for Welton Rovers in the Western League in the 1970s, by that time he was in his forties. He didn't do much running around but still had an amazing shot on him, used to score regularly from free kicks which were hit too hard for keepers at that level!

Found this video on YouTube, a film of our 1957/58 away fixture at Charlton played in September 1957 in front of a crowd of 22,000. There is no commentary, City are in the white shirts and lost 1-0. John Atyeo is playing at no 9 and the right winger playing at 7 is Hinshelwood. Is there anybody on here that went to this game (just about possible)? The football looks completely different to now, even a lot different from matches in the 60's.

Maybe he's keeping an eye on the Leicester situation in case any coaching positions come up there

Assuming we strengthen our defence and replace Scotty (if necessary) I fancy our chances next season of finishing in the top 8, hopefully top 6. Having watched City over the years we have a habit of doing well against big name teams when they're having some problems, it's the little clubs with well organised teams that we struggle against and although on paper it looks a strong division because of the many big name clubs most of them have they're problems (a bit like WBA did).
Leeds have a mish-mash of a squad after a succession of managers (a bit like we did last time we were relegated), they can't score goals and have a leaky defence. Leicester will have to sell their best players as their wage bill is in the top 10 in the Prem so we'll have to wait and see how that works out. Wednesday will need to strengthen considerable to challenge near the top, Sunderland might find it more difficult in their second season, and WBA still have ownership and financial issues. Having said that I expect Southampton to be near the top, Ipswich may be a bit like Sunderland last season but are a bit of an unknown quantity.
As for us, as well as new additions our younger players will be a bit older and more experienced (like Conway last season) and the January signings can get a pre-season with us to be fully settled in. All in all, a lot to look forward to.

Can anyone get it on the firestick
Yes just use the internet browser app and goto plus.fifa.com, watched the last game that way

I remember being stuck in L1 for what seemed an eternity where we dreamt of being in the Championship, at least we're now an established club at this level which is a decent standard. While I'd like to see us promoted not sure whether it would be more enjoyable watching us lose most of the time, think some people on here would go into meltdown.

Sounds like he's a right back who can play CB, I imagine he'll be contesting with Tanner for a place and also act as cover for injury. Aberdeen fans say his strength is his work ethic and determination rather than technical skills and he's better in his defensive role rather then supporting the attack. I imagine Nige wants to be in the same situation with defence as attack, ie have several options of similar ability and leave them to fight it out to get selected.

-
I think he gives us something different up front, as Nige says "things happen when he's on the pitch", that's good enough for me
-
-
Think maybe Nige is protecting Naismith as vital for next season
-
Amazing that whoever plays In goal for us if he makes a mistake according to otib he has to be replaced. Nige obviously rates Max, he's still young for a keeper and improving , we may need another keeper if Bajic is judged to be unsuitable as cover but that's it. If there's a keeper out there that's perfect and available he won't be coming to AG.

We don't win that often at Vicarage Road but managed to in our play-off season:
