Went there in 74/75 season (we lost 2-0). Most memorable fact was we had some problems with our kit and ended up wearing tangerine socks.

Will be a good test since in recent years we've had some shocking results there, I think Keith Millen was sacked after we lost 5-0 there in 2011 and I remember us even losing there on our great promotion year of 75/76. Believe our last win was about 15 years ago

When COD played for us other teams knew if you gave him a kick early on he'd disappear for the rest of the game, who's job will it be?

Personally would have left Williams on the bench, feel sorry for Wilson

The players who faced Luton have to keep the shirt after that performance with Wilson coming in for the suspended Sykes

Fuller's pub Fox and Goose Ealing. We stayed there when City played at Wembley 2015. Plenty of parking, regular buses to the stadium or about 45 minutes to walk

Conway and Wells deserve their chance

COVID wrecked the club's finances so NP is working on a restricted budget unlike previous managers. I have been impressed how he's given the young players chances to develop look at Conway and Scott now, that wouldn't have happened before. When I first watched City AD was manager and he had a torrid time early on, once the young players matured though we had our best team ever. At the end of the day a manager's only as good as the players he's got available and I think the squad's improving so give him a bit more time, he can't go out and spend millions to put things right quicker.

Think I'm the only one that's glad of a crap start,We seem to start off well end up at the top of league only to be disappointed and everything going tits up by Christmas.
Didn't do Forest any harm last year

We weren't as good at the back once Atkinson went off. Some tired legs out there at the end, perhaps we've started an unbeaten today that's two games

Martin's still key to our successful forward line, Conway will be used as sub or start if others injured, he may now be above Wells in the pecking order. By next season he may be starting and Martin used more as sub due to his age

How will we play second half? Let's hope we don't start playing too defensive, a 4th could kill them off. Expect Coventry to upgrade their line up

I expect Wells and Conway up front, Pring and maybe Towler to play in defence and possibly a cameo appearance by Kalas if he's ready.
-
Unfortunately reminds me of Sean Dyche's debut for us, he was built up to be a key signing and had a shocker first appearance. Let's hope he just had an off-day, personally I'd rather see Klose in the middle that's what helped us improve at the end of last season. Maybe play Naismith LWB and Jay could be available to play midfield. At least he's meant to be able to play most positions so try him somewhere else.
-
He's not worked out our best team yet, I'm not sure we'll see Sykes at wing back again with Wilson and Tanner available, he's out of position there and struggled a bit, also Viner will make way for Kalas/Klose/Pring. Not sure about Naismith after today may be better to get Klose back in that position where he did so well and move Naismith elsewhere.
Nige has to be given until the end of November no point in making rash decisions now. At least we're still scoring goals and creating chances.

There were quite a few empty seats in upper lansdown and the south stand . I sit in the doorman so couldnt see but a few dotted around near me. No way it was a 'full house ' in the home end
There were a lot of season ticket holders on holiday, season tickets count toward the official attendance whether people are there or not

I think our biggest crowd was against Man Utd 26,088. Todays game was maybe a sell-out in the home area but not in the Atyeo.

I think we'll play well but could easily end up a score draw, our home form improved towards the end of last season but Semenyo was a large part of that. If either team has a slice of luck that could tip the balance

Could be Scott at rwb since he played there last season with Sykes behind the front two, we'll have to wait and see

A easy win ! If you’ve learned anything about football especially the championship , then there no such thing as a easy win .
It was an easy win last time we played them!

Their fans have our 5-0 win against them at the end of last season fresh in their memory and fully expect to lose against us following a disastrous pre-season. They can't understand why George Honeyman was sold to Millwall as he was their best player last season, and have no idea whether the foreign players they've signed (mainly from Turkey) are any good.
Having said that City have a history of messing up what looks like an easy win on paper so we won't know for sure until 5:00 on Saturday.

Scotty might struggle to get a starting place in mid at this rate
Has the start to season changed our hand..

If Semenyo keeps scoring at the rate he is now and keeps injury-free I can see us getting big offers for him in January which will give the club a dilemma if we're doing well. Scott is younger so has more time, he will be happy to stay here and get games under his belt. Massengo will be near the end of his contract so a small bid in January may be accepted if we have someone else lined up.
