  1. I made the effort to come on here and apologise to Spazza for stepping out of line. Are you going to do the same to me for this vile post ?
  2. Emotions have been running high recently. It’s nice that we can all admit when we make mistakes and apologise/forgive. We’re all human after all, so let’s not be too harsh on each other. Best wishes to your wife @pillred and your mother @Red-Robbo
  3. That was a bit uncalled for wasn’t it? @SPAZZA Apologies for the hostility mate, it’s been a long week and I misinterpreted the tone of your post. Thanks for the explanation. An apology from you please Chippenhamred. You’re one of the best posters on here, but there was really no need to be so offensive.
  4. Friday night, winter, live on sky, Any genuine loyal Leeds fan should have been able to get a ticket. If you’re having to sit in home ends all the time, that doesn’t say much about your loyalty to the club. You feel the need to come on here and tell us you’re sat in our end; not to be respectful and open dialogue about the game but to try and boast about how massive you are. I can see right through it. I hope you have a throughly miserable evening. COYR!!!!
  5. It must be almost 20 years to the week since the original classic thread ! Hartlepool away, January 2004 right ?
  6. Let’s face it, we never get so much as a sniff against these horrible scummy bastards. Worst fans in football, but they’ll probably enjoy themselves at Ashton Gate again tomorrow night.
  7. How many Leeds fans in the home end I wonder?
  8. So results don’t matter unless the opposition play to the best of their ability ? Sorry Maidstone, you only won on Saturday because Ipswich didn’t turn up. No plaudits for you.
  9. Embarrassing thread, sums up this forum after a match.
  10. Just as we shouldn’t arrogantly start making plans for a home tie with United in the way that the quartered cretins did, we shouldn’t downplay our chances either. We’ve already beaten tougher opposition than Forest this season. Pring and TGH may be out but we’ve still got players that can hurt them. Forest themselves may be looking at their fixture list and their league position and concluding that the FA cup isn’t their priority. It’s a winnable tie and the potential rewards will ensure we put in our best possible shift.
  11. Aside from the titles he’s won, his teams have reached 97 and 92 points on two occasions, which’s should have been enough for a league title if it weren’t for a Man City team bending all the rules.
  12. They really are in a rut, four league defeats on the spin, unable to fill their stand and missed out on a massive FA Cup tie. It wouldn’t be so funny if they just got on with their business quietly, but they really set themselves up for this mockery don’t they?
  13. So we’re almost tripling their attendance figures these days.
  14. Have they seen our recent league results? There’s no reason why they shouldn’t think they can get a result. Not much between the two sides really.
  15. I just have to highlight one of my pet hates here… “Be careful what you wish for” as an argument is weak and spurious whataboutery. You can’t point to the very worst owners in the football league as an example of why we should stick with the status quo, any more than you can point to the poorest country in the world and say that the UK should stick with it’s government because “it could be worse”.
  16. I’m only interested in Blackpool vs Forest tonight, our fourth round opponents. Let them have their day out with face paint and half and half scarves at Anfield, we’ll focus on trying to progress as far as we can!
  17. That’s quite the deduction you’ve made about a post consisting of three words.
  18. Indeed, it was during the LJ era that we had a horrendous record against them, and although Pearson fared much better, I guess it’s still stuck in peoples minds that they are a bit of a bogey side.
  19. Preston are exactly the sort of team we find it hard to play against. They are spoilers essentially and we’ll need to be patient. I think a draw is very likely.
  20. I wonder how many football league managers from 2008 are still around, managing at this level? I’d wager not too many.
