I still say , shunning Pearson will be the worst football decision made by the Club in the last 50 years

There are a few in contention lagging just behind and THAT was one of them - unbelievable

in fact,  tbf the Lansdowns have a few contenders but shunning Pearson will surpass them for me

    Totally agree Shelts.

I'm quite a pragmatic bloke in most things including City. However, I would properly lose my sh!t if the 'hierarchy' f@ck this one up. We have a chance as a club to build on some solid foundations for the first time in a long time. That is down to NP. If they can't see that and they think that starting all over again is a better option. Then we my friends are back to square one yet again!

    No womble ,

he’s not the ‘Messiah’ , as I’ve previously pointed out over the last 3 years ,

Hes just possibly the best , proven manager , or certainly in the conversation , that we’ve had in the last 40/50 years considering the job he’s done with all context , and the level he’s done / doing it at , whilst introducing and using our own, something no one has done to anywhere nearthe same level since Dicks

    DICKS OUT !!!

(Sorry all. I'm in a very childish mood today)

You said you havent met a celtic fan that doesn’t hold extreme views,, i said the british have victimised the irish and catholics, and a lot of other countries and religions, for centuries, so its no surprise people dont like us/ our ruling classes…

So you have basically just made an assumption of my experiences and what their extreme views were then?

So you think City singing songs about Aberfan is OK? Anti semetic chants aimed at Spurs? Songs about Hillsborough? Just because Celtic sing Anti English and Royal songs you're offended. Having been to both Ibrox and Celtic Park, one set of fans was friendly and welcoming, one were psychotic thugs off their t*ts and there was union jacks everywhere!

    WOW.

Of course the examples you raised are unacceptable. Just as a point of order, I've not heard City fans sing about Aberfan ever and I've supported City for over 50 years. I did hear that it happened decades ago though.

Another point of order is that I didn't say that I was offended. What I stated was 'it could be because that they are a bunch of c****'.

I've had lots of experience of Celtic and their following. In my experience of them inside and outside of Glasgow is that they are what I stated. I've yet to meet one of them that doesn't hold extreme views wherever I've met them or wherever they are from.

You've had different experiences. Bully for you!

Not saying it’s right but James McLean doesn’t help himself tbf

and as somebody who ventured to the the old den a couple of times many years ago if that’s all they have got on Millwall fans nowadays it has come on leaps and bounds for all you young uns who do the train to Paddington / London Bridge Bermondsey etc that’s like having a trip to Disney land in a chauffeured limousine, try getting a coach / mini bus and get dropped off half up the old Kent road , then have open terraces to endure and the old bill sometimes actually assisting Millwall , still can be a little unpleasant but not a jot on years ago same as Cardiff another breeze , also remember Newport being very feisty to say the least ( very under the radar many moons back

My view is that he won't be bothered about the abuse he gets and has been getting for years.

More like he takes it as some deluded badge of honour.

    Pretty standard from them 🤣

Can you imagine the uproar from City fans if Nigel was making a complete pr1ck of himself on Social Media and embarrassing our club into the bargain?

Now imagine the uproar if he kept on doing it…..plus made our fans sign up to a subscription service to get exclusive news about OUR club?

They really are spineless from the Boardroom to the fanbase.

Best mate a leeds season ticket holder was saying a lot of clubs have cut there allocation they give leeds this year

That has to be a good thing.

I can't bear the same old songs trotted out over and over again. Their boring songs are only topped by that pathetic monotone dreary effort about a certain Prozzy sang by web-toed, six fingered, sister shagging  quarter wearing few.

Here is a worked example..Penalties to Shots from the last 3 full seasons.

Now granted our attacking output for 2020-21 was below even a minimal baseline in terms of chances created.

Think we were bottom for a host of metrics however.

Reading FC- 3 year cumulative shots ie total, although there is a question as to whether the stats include penalties in total shots.

    1,427 across 3 seasons.

We had 1,284 across 4 seasons.

    Reading FC- 21 penalties awarded.

Bristol City FC- 5 penalties awarded

Reading FC- 1 penalty per 67.952 shots.

Bristol City FC- 1 penalty per 256.8 shots.

    Impressive post Mr P.

On a side note. You really need to get out more. 🙃

After the next tournament id break the bank, and get Pepe in, or try nothing more he can do in any decent leauge, I know theres more chance of it being steve McLaren though.

I think Pepe is still playing for Porto and in any case he has no experience in management.

PS: I'm being very immature and I realise you mean Pep.

That one did top the lot. Defender V Keeper given as a foul against the attacker.

I would love to see the assessors report .

    Totally agree.

Sam Bell basically went out of his way to not collide with the keeper. The defender collides with the keeper. Keeper rolls around with his hand in the air like he's been shot. Keeper gets the free kick and miraculously recovers in 2.3 seconds.

The look on Sam's face tells you everything you need to know.

There were many decisions last night that were quite literally mind blowing.

If we play like the arrogant t**ts that went down to Southampton or the directionless team last night and you could very well put one in the win column.

You obviously didn't watch our game last night then?

    We were bloody awful.

Apart from TC's cameo. That was a thing of beauty.

Bamford doesn't go down like a sack of spuds or roll around as if he's auditioning for the foul of the year. He is trying to play on by getting to his feet when the ref blows.

As others have said, the keeper's studs were raised (he was entitled to go for the ball and out of the area). I query the need to call PB a 'Cheat' on this occasion.

He doesn't roll around but he did go down like a sack of spuds. He knew exactly what he was doing.
