  1. We've complained to the FA, but they're not taking it seriously.
  2. SHEFF. UTD. [H] … the verdict : Sheffield Steal Spoils (podbean.com) Another lively debate! DaveP hosts Neil, Ian & Mark in discussing how City played well again but again failed to be rewarded for their efforts. Another sloppy goal conceded, a misfiring forward line but the woodwork hit twice and Alex Scott perhaps back to his best. Disgraceful performance from ref in 2nd half and shithousery from Sheffield of the highest order which, as Ian puts it is game management when we do it! We remain a work in progress but should we be looking over our shoulders at the chasing pack whilst still believing a play off place is still there for the taking. We look forward to the 3 games before the World Cup break and, assuming everyone is fit in December how should Kal Naismith be accommodated as "reliable defender" he is not
  3. The voice of reason. Well said Dave.
  4. I'm just about to answer my own question. As Tweeted by a member of this parish. And. Its. Shocking!
  5. Can you post the footage WSM, it's not on the Sky online highlights.
  6. Oh yes! And at least 2 of those goals were the result of excellent pressing. Wilbraham was one of City's best ever 'free' signings. And god (Cotterill) brought Moses (Wilbraham) back from the wilderness (actually, it was a hotel in Dubai) to lead his children (well, he was of a mature age) to the promised land (The Championship, one step at a time).
  7. I'm going to write to Santa for mine. Does he still live at the North Pole?
  8. Tanner was unlucky. No malice, just a mistimed tackle. Norwood's 'tackle' on the other hand was #£/&<÷& shocking.
  9. 99 points and 96 goals. That was a phenomenal season, typified by Flint's frankly ridiculous 15 strikes. We still love you Steve Cotterill.
  10. I would normally say, should've gone to Specsavers. The nasty branch with horrible staff and punishment rooms.
  11. Sin binning players for professional fouls would clear up the dark arts. It's too easy for teams to persistently foul and escape unpunished.
  12. Bloody hell! I've just re-checked BBC and you're right.
  13. Studs up, straight down into Williams knee and only a yellow. Where, oh where is the consistency referee? Criminal.
  14. Want to see City's identity? Energy, commitment, fast and fluid possession, it was all on display tonight. City's best home performance of the season, despite the result. We just need to put those chances away. Gutted, but proud.
  15. Minutes since last penalty update: 4275 47.5 games. 71.25 hours. Hope.
  16. At least Andy has scored a King goal. Han hasn't scored a King goal.
  17. C-Suite! That's a guy that touches the upper echelons, that other executives cannot reach. He'll be great in the Heineken Lounge.
  18. Is Bevington available, should we want to make an approach?
  19. The verdict - City deserving of more from entertaining game https://foreverbristolcity.podbean.com/e/swansea-h-the-verdict-city-deserving-of-more-from-entertaining-game/ Ian, Mark & DaveFevs join DaveP in reviewing a decent display against a team in form who, quite honestly, flattered to deceive despite having 72% possession. Injury & illness meant City started with a back three of Tanner, Vyner & Pring. Whilst it might have been different against more physical opposition as a trio they did very well with Pring voted as MOM. When Tommy Conway put City in front with a well worked goal it was just reward for a sparkling opening, indeed, if early chances been converted the game would have been won before the half hour mark. Perhaps it wasn't the worldy described by DaveP but the power drive that took a deflection for an equaliser was no more than Swansea deserved as City were somewhat lack lustre for the last 20 minutes. In this episode we talk briefly about club finances, ponder whether we'd like to watch a possession based style as displayed by Russell Martin's side and assess our chances in the final three league games before the World Cup break starting against Sheffield United on Tuesday.
