  1. I would normally say, should've gone to Specsavers. The nasty branch with horrible staff and punishment rooms.
  2. Sin binning players for professional fouls would clear up the dark arts. It's too easy for teams to persistently foul and escape unpunished.
  3. Bloody hell! I've just re-checked BBC and you're right.
  4. Studs up, straight down into Williams knee and only a yellow. Where, oh where is the consistency referee? Criminal.
  5. Want to see City's identity? Energy, commitment, fast and fluid possession, it was all on display tonight. City's best home performance of the season, despite the result. We just need to put those chances away. Gutted, but proud.
  6. Minutes since last penalty update: 4275 47.5 games. 71.25 hours. Hope.
  7. At least Andy has scored a King goal. Han hasn't scored a King goal.
  8. C-Suite! That's a guy that touches the upper echelons, that other executives cannot reach. He'll be great in the Heineken Lounge.
  9. Is Bevington available, should we want to make an approach?
  10. The verdict - City deserving of more from entertaining game https://foreverbristolcity.podbean.com/e/swansea-h-the-verdict-city-deserving-of-more-from-entertaining-game/ Ian, Mark & DaveFevs join DaveP in reviewing a decent display against a team in form who, quite honestly, flattered to deceive despite having 72% possession. Injury & illness meant City started with a back three of Tanner, Vyner & Pring. Whilst it might have been different against more physical opposition as a trio they did very well with Pring voted as MOM. When Tommy Conway put City in front with a well worked goal it was just reward for a sparkling opening, indeed, if early chances been converted the game would have been won before the half hour mark. Perhaps it wasn't the worldy described by DaveP but the power drive that took a deflection for an equaliser was no more than Swansea deserved as City were somewhat lack lustre for the last 20 minutes. In this episode we talk briefly about club finances, ponder whether we'd like to watch a possession based style as displayed by Russell Martin's side and assess our chances in the final three league games before the World Cup break starting against Sheffield United on Tuesday.
  11. Too true. It's not like Cisterns are doin' it for themsleves.
  12. His Majesty's Rugby Club have got a lot to answer for!
  13. I've asked loads of people: why have Bristol City only spent two periods in the topflight of English football in their 128-year history ? Sadly, No One Knows.
  14. Huh. Think that's petty? I hate the Tommy Conway song, ode to "Don't you want me?" I mean, has Tommy ever worked as a waitress in a cocktail bar?
  15. Wasn't Oliver Cromwell in goal? One for the Puritans.
  16. It was me! And Williams blew it, following Cam's pass. Thought Cam was great today, solid, unruffled and terrific in the tackle. Not forgetting his beautiful rugby tackle near the end.
  17. No, Charles is andy - on environmental issues, but not much COP27 (coz this week's PM, or was it last weeks, won't let him go)
  18. Andy will be pleased! Lovely fella.
  19. Not sure, but it does earn you 732 points in Scrabble.
