  1. Agree with that and it won’t define our season but today was the first game this season where we didn’t even compete. The lack of quality on the budget we’ve got and past management incompetence is to be expected. Not competing isn’t on.
  2. Today was a combination of a very poor performance against a team that probably would have beaten us anyway. Glad O’Dowda got hooked at half time, Pring who just had a terrible game and needs to be rested for his own good was getting roasted on his side and he didn’t try and help ******* once. Not to mention the hospital pass he gave James that led to the first goal. He’s finished here as far as I’m concerned. Only Bentley, Tanner, Baker and Kalas come out with credit today. Everyone else was poor and O’Dowda was sub-pro footballer standard.
  3. It was never going to end today tbh. Bournemouth are just different class to us. My main gripe today was that first half “effort” from our Irish international. Sincerely hope he never pulls our shirt on again.
  4. That would certainly be the "football way"........ensure the Manager of Bristol Manor Farm gets the book thrown at him whilst loads of Managers in the Premier League and EFL get away with equally if not worse threatening behaviour this season. That should sort things out........
  5. I'm sure if you've got a bit of personality about you and swore back at the players in the "right way", if you get my meaning, most players would be alright with it. 6. Apparently the ref was dishing out a bit of industrial language at players and management himself. Doesn’t excuse the reaction clearly BUT it’s not a clever thing to do if you want to avoid this type of incident. If you want to ref at a decent level management of players and officials is all part of it, like it or not. Sounds like the manager shook hands with the ref must have said something and got sent off when he was walking away from the ref. The FA will no doubt get to the bottom of it taking everything into account not just our view of the video. He can expect a lengthy ban though.
  7. No, not my point at all. These teams shouldn’t be running round taking cheap shots at decent players. These games are a complete and utter waste of time.
  8. Andorra, San Marino and similar standard countries should have their own separate tournament. You’ve got never has beens out there who just want to take cheap shots at players they’ve heard of.
  9. My one criticism is she let a couple of Andorra players get away with murder and booked 3-4 England players. Rebes needs taking out the back and given a good shoeing and their number 2 should be waiting in the queue for the same treatment.
  10. That’s what you call distribution from your keeper.
  11. That Rebes needs his leg snapped in half.
  12. Against teams like this you put six or seven past them, shake hands and tell them to enjoy work on Monday. These games aren’t football.
  13. These Matchday threads show how polarised opinion gets based on one result. Wednesday night we’re shit, Saturday evening we’ve got a bunch of battlers who give their all!! Chris Martin is ******* useless Wednesday but scores a great winner at the weekend. The point is, as you say, we are where we are and as long as Nige gets the best out of what we have we shouldn’t be looking over our shoulders. However to think there won’t get more games like Millwall over the course of the season is living in cloud cuckoo land. We just aren’t at the level to perform consistently and challenge the upper reaches of the table but the players do give their all every week. I’ll take that given the car crash of last season and the mismanagement going back three years.
  14. For anyone thinking their method of changing Managers 2-3 times per season is the way to go, forget it. Steve ain’t paying for it, end of.
  15. The bloke is a *** who was allowed by a sleeping owner to cause a lot of longer term damage to this football club. If some people won’t let that lie and forget it in a hurry that’s up to them, respectfully.
  16. The point of the question is that if we lose against Bournemouth some bellend will pipe up that Pearson should go probably?
  17. I wouldn’t say he had a blinder. Tbf I would say the Few keeper had a blinder based on those highlights and Swindon could and should have obliterated them. SHIT……
  18. The majority on FewChat are telling the truth tbf which is an amazing thing in itself (probably out of their anger towards Barton).........which is that Swindon absolutely wiped the floor with them and should have scored a lot more than three.
  19. Surely a team managed by someone as negligent as Garner shouldn't be able to breach Joey's boys once let alone three times and totally batter them all game?
  20. The constant flow of bullshit that comes out of them and they really wonder why we are on page 2630 of our piss taking thread.
  21. I am starting to think that Curtis Fleming is the missing link that Pearson has needed to get HIMSELF up and running in the job tbh.
  22. Agreed. Chris Martin is a great pro but brimming with class every week he ain't. However, great pro's are what we need right now with the budgetary constraints Steve has asked Nige to work to. We have to take the rough with the smooth and accept that for the game we got at Millwall we will then get a finish at the death today that had Mitrovic buried it we would have been saying "that's what £60K per week gets you at this level".
