Shouldn't you be in bed Phil?? You have to be up in 8 hours to post on here again!

He checks this place last thing at night and first thing in the morning.  Pretty much like myself and many others.  Come out of the closet Phil. There is a nice real actual seat waiting for you in the Lansdown Stand. They are really comfortable. You will also be able to access the fans village pre match and enjoy a nice beer/cider in the sun with a big screen to watch and sports action.  There is also plenty of food outlets dotted about.  Or if you prefer you could go into our fantastic sports bar which went viral during the Euros. You may have seen that already? Inside there is an even bigger screen,  the biggest pub screen in the UK. If you are feeling peckish you can sit down and have a meal.

Inside our horse shoe shaped concourses you can walk completely through.  You will find some artwork on display in the SS of our club legends.  You will find many food and drink outlets in the concourses,  there is even free WiFi in the concourse.  There are many TV's to watch the early kick offs and it shows our game during the game.  Quite handy if you need a pee.

Oh please excuse my ignorance, I am not sure if you know what a concourse is? Considering Charnoboyl doesn't have any.

If you have the budget I can give you details of all our hospitality suits and boxes?

Oh and we are soon to have a further two extra big screens installed in the stadium which will go rather nicely with our new electronic advertising boards.

I look forward to showing you around all our facilities and welcoming you to the home of Bristol Championship football.

...and yet you find yourselves a massive one division ahead of us, well done!

The gap now is comfortably shorter than the one between Scott Murray's teeth, saying that even when we were in the Bananarama the gap was probably still smaller than that.

You know what I really don't mind you lot coming on here. But you and your personal insults of a club legend can **** off back to the Banarama.

I read our Facebook forum first then look at you lot to find out what else is going on at Rovers that we've all missed .. and to catchup on the piss taking! !

Fair play to you. You read the rubbish on your Facebook group and then come on to here to discover the actual truth in any such story.

Think Hordur was shocked at the pace of things 1st half but the good sign was he adapted fast and looked a different player after the break

More of a problem was Brownhill the game just passed him by, not sure that was the right position for him

Strange, I thought he looked rather composed. Read the game very well. Even tried a few Hollywood balls that didn't quite come off. Sometimes instead of just heading it out he would let the ball drop and turn so he would have posession of the ball. Very impressed.

  6. The difference between the halfs were night and day. We started the game off well and really should have gone one up as Kodjia was through on goal but fluffed it. After that we were very limp and Wigan looked like the home team with all their posession. Once they got their goal they simply sat back and didn't seem a threat at all. They also started to time waste very early on.

We started the second half okish and were more in the game. The subs really made a difference and it was obvious that if we could get one we would go on to win the game.

Really impressed with Tammy. The ball just sticks to his feet.

  7. I walked into a car show room, agreed to buy a Tesla, they were happy to sell me one and I was happy to buy. Now I've just got to find the finance for it....But the reassuring thing is the agreement is in place for me to buy it.

Can I now go round telling everyone I own a Tesla?

He should ask our Steve if he could have a look down the back of his. He`d probably be able to build two stadiums then.

Maybe we could let them play at the Stoke Gifford Stadium and considering they are so obsessed by us they can be our B team.

I think the detached stand at the goal end in this picture really brings your new rugby stadium together nicely.

Oh where to start with this comment. I think the detached stand at the goal end is a massive improvement on any one of your stands. It's our poorest stand yet a stand you would dream to have. Maybe when we redevelop it it could be taken apart for you to use? How long has Ashton Gate hosted rugby? What sport was the Memorial Ground built for and hosted for many many years? Enough said.

You and your tin pot club are not in a position to take the piss out of us in any way. In every department our club is bigger and better than yours #knowyourplace

  10. Phil, you spend so much Time on here, even when your supposed to be working. It feels like to me that you secretly wish to be one of us. You no longer have to feel ashamed by this dirty little secret. We understand and forgive you for your mistaken past loyalties. You can be with of us and we will welcome you with open arms. I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to arrange a display name change.

    Welcome to the BCFC family

Youre achievement was better naturally as you were in and still are in a higher league than us, however we have surprised a lot of people that doubted our ability to bounce back the way we have .. I am a happy GasHead

Thank you, just wanted to see if you were as deluded as some of your fellow fans.

It is a fantastic achievement, although your not the only club to have achieved it. There has also been a huge amount of luck in it. Winning a penalty shootout and Accrington not winning. And those two things are what really need to be remembered in order to ground your fan base.

Some of your fans will remain realistic and would take survival in the last kick of the last game. However most of your fans will expect you to be table topping just like they did in the past. Whoever your manager will be will be hounded out just like Trollope was.

A natural position for Bristol Rovers is mid table league one. Its just some of your fans will never be able to accept that respectable position.

Good for you bye for now

Genuine question and I'd like you to give it some serious thought.

What achievement was better, Your double promotion or Our double winning season where we won 99 points?

  13. 1 hour ago, Philgas said:

Our promotions etc you can tell by most of the comments on here .. slate us all you want .. sticks and stones etc .. must dash I have work to do

You will find most on here actually feel it's a decent achievement. Although finding yourselves in a position where you need two promotions to get back to where you once were is embarrassing.

Rovers will always have a huge thirst for success. Every year you feel you should be winning whatever league you are in. Your pursuit of this success is what will always cause your downfall.

What a condescending post I for one think they have done very well to get promoted to league one when I thought they would struggle to get out if conference. You make some valid points but also make us sound like some vastly superior Bristol super club when we are now only one league away from the gas and they have momentum.

also you say they always harp on about us but 205 pages on this thread suggests we are no different and most match days just as many songs are sang about rovers than our own team so we can by no means say we are not obsessed by them.

we have struggles most of the season and while I can see hope for a better one next year most of us are realists and know that bcfc is never a straightforward love affair and we could be at the same level as rovers before very long.

our fan base continues to grow? Yes agree but not at the level to fill a 27k stadium with our newsstands top tier not being used much if at all next year.

they have struggled yes but with a new owner some good players could ensure a comfortable mid table season next year.

Has your account been hacked by a sag head? Only asking because your post is very defensive of them.

You do realise their new owner hasn't got a penny to scratch his ads withz right?
