You say back to square one........Rovers never left square one.

Or seem to "Pass Go" that often but love to collect their £200 sponsorship raffle tickets.

Not adverse to "Going directly to Jail" most match days (horse punching a speciality)

But don't worry Wael has them well on the way to "Free Parking" or at least that's what's "planned".

Alas the super fans need not panic people! for "Midas" himself has landed in Horfield.

Wael has plenty of money, Monopoly money that is.

    Joke of a club.

Thought i would chime in. Al qadi came in when  the transfer window and loan window was opened and rovers challenging for promotion. Surely bringing in 1 or 2 championship or league 1 players on loan could have been affordable, and just 1 point extra could have made the difference, why didnt he bring soneone in? Jet on loan is one im thinking of, or even wes burns. If they dont go up, that will be a critical error.

    Because he has no money....

Well- in the unlikely event I have the time- I'll look through your 21,000 plus posts and see if you can be taken seriously.

Just get the super fans of yours that'll be locked out of The Memorial on Saturday to check each post in turn.

Should keep the 21335 "faithful" busy.

"Regardless of wealth, Wael has made it clear that he is going to run the club the right way not the Lansdown way"

What does this even mean?

He means that Wael is going to load it with 3rd party debt, give them false promises and even falser dawns oh and maybe send them into administration at some point in the near future.

A far better business plan and financially prudent way of operating.

I mean what on earth is SL doing...?

Now where's my sponsorship raffle ticket.........

    Tinpot ground ?

    Unbelievable.

The only "professional" club to utilise tents and a cricket pavilion as stands and they have the neck to call ANY other football ground tinpot.

And plastic patio chairs....never forget that.

  6. Sunday Times Rich List out today, and after a first glance I can't see Wael anywhere.

Now bear in mind they do a world list too on the website you'd think such an important billionaire would feature??

Oh it's his families wealth is it?... That's alright then because my brother is a pilot for British Airways so I'll rock up to Heathrow in the morning and have a go at flying to New York.

    What a load of bollocks.

Meanwhile on the subject of FACTS.....

Sorry to disappoint, but the rover's stadium is as good as built.   Owners value? -  its the family and not Wael.  I guess end of season transfers will answer that question.  If our biggest signing is for 10k feel free to laugh.

    Oh FFS...

That was a diabolical game. Both teams were absolute horse shit. Unfortunately the rules of football don't allow both teams to get no points, because that's what they deserve.

    An absolute horror show.

As usual @Fordy62 talks sense so I won't add to this as it'll be talking shit.

Instead I've found a rogue Easter Egg of my boy's in the fridge so I'm going to eat that and sulk.

I'm pretty sure UWE will be built now. Can't see it being bigger than AG though. I'm sure the original capacity was chosen by NH as 21,700, because pre-redevelopment your capacity was 21,490. There is room for a second tier taking it to about 26,000 and potential for a third to take it to 35,000. Can't see Wael trying to cram in an extra 1,001 seats just to play our ground's bigger than yours. Doesn't seem to be his style.

So Wael's "style" is what? Having no real money to pay for it?

If you had the Camp Nou as your ground you'd still say it was too small.

Worry about the Emperors New Clothes paying for it before how many seats you'll need.

  10. Another crowing update phone call from my brother in law just ended on a sore note (again)....

Him - "The diggers are going in at the UWE in October, looks like we're getting our stadium after all"

Me - "Hmmm a car park actually"

Him - "Well that's because the builders need to park somewhere so they're doing that first"

Me - "Are you actually that stupid?"

Him - "That's what the club were saying today anyway You're just jealous"

Me - "Of a car park? Or League Two football? Or the billionaire who can't fund his own stadium and doesn't appear to have a pot to piss in?...Let me think hmmmm nope"

Him - "Oh fxxk off" (hangs up)

Dont know why he sets himself up every week.....but I love it.

Given how 'immoral' Shamesburys have acted throughout this process, how would you react if gasheads started actively shoplifting from their stores, it is wrong and immoral of course but I guess it's the only way the little man wins against these corporations.

Reminds me of the antics of another Billionaire football owner in the North East a few years ago....

    That went well didn't it...?

The fallout from this house of cards being built by the comedy club is going to be priceless.

Sit back and watch it all go to s**t.

  14. Well that's a result worth waiting 23hrs for!

Just landed in Perth (Western Australia) after nervously twitching with game withdrawal symptoms as the wifi on the plane wasn't working..switch the phone off of airplane mode and a very welcome text alert from BBC Sport arrives!

Looking at the team, formation etc and Bryan played centre midfield? Interested to hear did he fit naturally there?

Also just realised this post has probably cost me about £200 in roaming
