I gave up on this when the story was that Frank had cancelled golf today to be interviewed. Golf. In 80 mph winds. Right.
It's lovely today here in Norn Iron. Blue sky, 12 degrees and no wind at all on our golf course which is on the coast. His wife Christine (from Northern Ireland if people didn't know/care) might have suggested to play here today. If only I was close enough to Belfast International, I could tell you if they had been spotted...and had nothing else to do!

“brave, front foot football”.
Meaningless dribble, isn’t it?
Only if it doesn't lead to a goal!

Ex Sex Pistols drummer or even his namesake Paul Cook. He's not got much of a budget at Chesterfield and is doing OK.

I was a massive fan of friends. Very sad news RIP Matthew.
He was brilliant in The West Wing even if his part was for only a couple of episodes. He could really act.

Pathetic yet again. When will City Supporters Liason People finally admid it is a poor service?
At 15.07 it crashed.
I still haven't received my refund from last time we had issues in September.

'Bard' by Google has a lot to sat about that comment!
Yes, it is possible that the thread was generated by AI. AI language models are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and they are now able to generate text that is very similar to human-written text. However, there are still some telltale signs that can indicate that a piece of text was generated by AI.
One sign is that the text may be grammatically correct but semantically nonsensical. This is because AI language models are trained on massive datasets of text, but they do not have the same understanding of the meaning of words as humans do. As a result, they may be able to string together words and phrases in a grammatically correct way, but the overall meaning of the text may not make sense.
Another sign is that the text may be repetitive or formulaic. This is because AI language models are often trained on a specific type of text, such as news articles or code. As a result, they may learn to generate text that is similar to the text they were trained on. This can lead to repetitive or formulaic text, especially when the AI language model is asked to generate text on a topic that it is not familiar with.
Finally, AI language models may have difficulty generating text that is creative or original. This is because AI language models are trained on a dataset of existing text, and they do not have the ability to come up with new ideas or concepts. As a result, AI-generated text may often be derivative or unoriginal.
In the case of the thread you mentioned, there are a few things that make me think that it may have been generated by AI. First, the text is grammatically correct, but it is a bit repetitive and formulaic. Second, the text does not seem to be particularly creative or original. Third, the text does not seem to have a clear point or purpose.
Overall, I think it is possible that the thread was generated by AI. However, it is also possible that it was written by a human who is not a very good writer. It is difficult to say for sure without more information.
Wait till AI can imitate Fev and his diagramsand stats. I can't understand them in the first place so hopefully AI will do a Janet and John version!

For cricket fans of my generation, Bishen Bedi has died aged 77.
Part of a fantastic Indian spin attack in the 60s.
No! One of my early heroes as a youngster I wanted to spin the ball like him or Derek Deadly Underwood. I was a leftie as well!

Messrs Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais would use their favourite football players for character surnames.
Take Porridge for instance. Prison staff included, Mackay, Barrowclough and Venables.

If Tone moved back late 1981 or early 1982, then there's no such thing as a coincidence!

Wasn't there another video from a couple of months ago where she goes to Spurs for an away game? Just like most movies, the sequel isn't as good as the original!

My Tour prog was the complete opposite! It was a well produced history of the band publication.
I have seen the Feelgoods so many times but never with Wilko. Met him once immediately after a Bierkeller gig and he signed his latest Ice On The Motorway album which I'd taken with me.

Found "Down by the Jetty" by Dr Feelgood this arvo. It also has the programme & ticket from when I saw them at the Colston. Have done some research and could get circa £150 for it today as it is in pristine condition. FFS
If you look at my profile picture, you'll see it comes from Canvey Island's finest.
I saw the Feelgoods for the first time when touring Private Practice in 1978. I bought the tour prog as well as the t shirt. I learned the hard way to never leave a prog under the seat during the gig as it might get nicked....it did. I can tell you 45 years later where I was sitting as well!
I'd love to see photos of your tour programme if you have a spare minute.
I saw SAHB (without Alex) around 1995. Zal Clemson on guitar and with the McKenna brothers as well. What a band. If there was a tour prog for that gig, I would have it f r a m e d!
The SAHB has to be filed under S. End of!

Sad to hear that about Ivor.
I often wondered what was the present he received from Tom Watson after Ivor announced him for the last time.

I decided to re-start the thread but with a slight name change. I agree with other posters that the original thread was not only for news but a place where we could pay our respects and give personal memories/tributes etc..

If I'm remembering correctly it was started by TomF and guessing it disappeared when his account was deleted following the recent forum migration.
That would explain it then. I was hoping that it was something sensible!
