    He was, finished his career.

In fairness, I believe Robbo was implying he listened to Darren on the radio in the car as opposed to Darren boring him witless in the vehicle itself.

Yep, whoever was driving we always listen to RB on the way back to Nailsea, Darren Way was then at Yeovil so was frequently interviewed.

    I wasn’t aware that he’d been involved in a car accident p.

****ing hell. Darren sounded on the verge of suicide every time he was interviewed at Yeovil. Asking him to manage Rovers in a pandemic at what with all the tents could double for a field hospital may just finish him off.

During post match interviews Way used to amuse us when driving back after a game at AG. Poor guy could barely string a sentence together.

I haven’t looked at the Forrest forum but I expect it can’t compare with OTIB. This forum is more than just basic football chat. At one end of the scale we have detailed analysis - eg @Davefevs and at the other end it’s fish puns, Clarks Pies, fish lots and Adge Cutler. What more could anyone want? Although it may be deemed to be cruel it’s nice to have a good laugh at someone else’s expense, especially when “they are coming for us”

Otib is a terrific forum. It almost goes without saying. Certainly the best that I’ve seen.

They were very happy when Notts County fell out of the League and yes there was a thread about them.

Most Forest fans consider Derby as their main rivals. I know a few Forest fans and they have no real dislike for NCFC, the same cannot be said about their feelings towards Derby.elps.

As far as I’m concerned Cardiff are our main rivals. They’re the club I like to beat above all others. It used to be Swindon but now, like the gas are no longer serious rivals. That’s my point.

Each to his own I guess..............:dunno:

    It’s just a simple question Stevie............:cool2:

The Gas are meaningless to me. I very rarely, if ever think about them. It’s only when I come on here that I see they’re still in existence.

No offence but the above is nonsense

The play off format has been in place for years and Exeter are fully aware of what is required to be crowned Champions.

There's nothing under hand here. It's been in the game for years.

I'm sure Bristol would enjoy the payback though after finishing top of the Championship but Exeter won promotion after a play off

It’s always been nonsense Phants. Bristol lost out having win the Championship in the play offs. The format was introduced in 2005/6 simply for tv money.

Exeter best team. Just give it to them. It's like asking Liverpool to go through a play off system last season to be confirmed as Champs. Ridiculous. And all just for bloody TV.

Absolutely they are. They won title by accumulating mote points that’s any other team. The top four play off is a blatant exploitation of the game - all for the TV money.

    I think is absolutely outrageous.

if as a Bears supporter and we actually beat the Chiefs in the play off final it would mean bugger all to me and I’d willingly give the trophy to Exeter - they deserve it.

Even though we beat them at their place and it took a last gasp score at AG to win?

I would hope if we had to do the final we made some sort of point that we were doing it for Wasps, somehow.

Having watched Chiefs v Racing I was sooo impressed with them - they are really formidable and looked better now than when the Bears faced them during the season.

I really can’t see anything than a Chiefs win should the Bears have to face them and by some margin.

When do we find out if it’ll be the bears in the final instead of wasps ?

Depends on how hard the Wasps squad being hit by Covid but I really hope that the Bears don’t have to face the mighty Exeter Chiefs who are deservedly the European champions and the PLs dominant club.

They’d be too powerful for the Bears and the result could be an embarrassment.

Sad to see the demise of Leicester as a force, they used to be THE team to beat and now they'd be hard pressed to beat an egg.  When did they get so shit?

Great result for the Bears, bonus point and everything goes to the last round of games.  Come on the Bears for the top 4!

Like football rugby is cyclical. Very few football clubs stay at the top with Liverpool and Arsenal being the only two exceptions.

Leicester Tigers will return in the future.
